An optical inspection apparatus capable of adjusting an incident angle of a detected light beam and adjusting a detecting angle for detecting the detected light beam. A driving mechanism is used to actuate two arms having a light source and a detector disposed thereon respectively to conduct a relative movement between the two arms so as to control the incident angle and the detecting angle. By means of the embodiments, mechanism for adjusting the angle is simplified so that the apparatus is capable of being adapted to combine with the application of micro sensors such that practicality of modularization design and microminiaturization and convenience of operation are capable of being greatly improved and that the cost can be reduced.

Optical inspection apparatus

An optical recoding carrier and an information recording method applying an amplitude shift keying (ASK) method or further a DC-biased ASK method are provided, wherein at least one periodically undulated section and at least one non-periodically undulated section are formed on the optical recording carrier to indicate specific information. The information recording method can be embodied as an addressing method of an optical disk for recording address information of tracks of the optical disk. A continuous track structure is provided on the optical recording carrier to save the available recording space and improve the information reading precision of the optical recording carrier. Furthermore, a signal generating apparatus and an information reading apparatus applied in the information recording method are provided.

A method is provided to manufacture a precise multi-pole magnetic component for using in magnetic encoders. A special layout of the circuit pattern is designed and formed on a printed circuit board (PCB). Alternate and regular magnetic field is induced according to Ampere's law after a current flowing through the circuit on the PCB. The multi-pole magnetic component with fine magnetic pole pitch is achieved by forming the high-density circuit patterns on a substrate using the PCB technology.

A recording layer including a novel organic compound for a high density optical recording medium is provided. The information may be recorded on the recording layer at a 2&#xd7; speed or higher speed with a relatively lower writing power so that heat distribution of the recording layer in the irradiated area is not likely to become steep both in time and space. An inorganic resist material is provided, which is an incomplete oxide of a phase-change material. The oxygen content in the inorganic resist material is lower than the stoichiometric oxygen content of a complete oxide of the phase-change material, and a general formula of the inorganic resist material is AO, in which A represents the phase-change material, and x is between 5 at. % and 65 at. %. The inorganic resist material can be used to form line patterns or recording pits with size smaller than the exposure light spot by using the laser of conventional lithography process as an exposure source.

Manufacturing method for precise multi-pole magnetic components

A near-field optical head objective lens that can read and write high-density data on an optical disc is disclosed. On a surface where an incident beam converges by the near-field optical head objective lens, a film that can produce surface plasmon effect is coated. As the incident beam hits the material and produces the surface plasmon, a micro aperture is generated to minimize the diameter of the light spot, thereby increasing the data capacity stored in the optical disc.
