Hydrophilic phosphorus ligand and method for separation and recovery of catalyst

A catalyst and a method for synthesizing cyclic carbonate using the catalyst are provided. The catalyst includes a metal complex shown in formula (I): wherein R, R, R, and Rare independently a C1-C25 alkyl group, a C1-C25 alkoxy group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group, a C6-C25 aryl group, a C6-C25 aryloxy group, a C7-C25 aralkyl group, a C7-C25 aralkoxy group, or halogen; Ris hydrogen, a C1-C25 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group, a C6-C25 aryl group, a C6-C25 aryloxy group, a C7-C25 aralkyl group, or a C7-C25 aralkoxy group; M is Sn or Ti; X is Cl, Br, I, or OAc; and L represents ether or furan.

Catalyst and method for synthesizing cyclic carbonate by the same

A catalyst system includes a transition metal salt containing a halo group, an acetate group, or a combination thereof, and an organic phosphine ligand. The molar ratio of the organic phosphine ligand to the transition metal salt is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 50.

A hydrogenation catalyst system is provided. The catalyst system includes a metal complex of Formula (I), an organic lithium compound and an organic compound having a cyclic structure including at least one double bond.  In Formula (I), M is transition metals. R, R, R, Rand Rare the same or different, including hydrogen, C1-8 alkyl, and C1-8 alkoxy, or two of R, R, R, Rand Rare linked together to form a ring. Cayalyst system and manufacturing method of cyclic carbonate by the same

Disclosed is a method for treating a surface of a PVC product. A PVC product including PVC and plasticizer is provided. A surface of the PVC product is treated by an aqueous solution of a crosslinking agent and a first phase transfer catalyst to form a first surface treated PVC product. The surface of the first surface treated PVC product is treated by an aqueous solution of an aqueous free radical initiator and a second phase transfer catalyst to form a second surface treated PVC product. As such, the release of the plasticizer from the PVC product to an environment is inhibited.

An extended film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The extended film includes a poly(lactic acid) and a block copolymer, wherein the block polymer includes a first block, a second block and a third block that connected with each other by chemical bonds. The extended film is formed by steps of mixing poly(lactic acid) and the block copolymer to form a mixture, compressing the mixture to form a board body and extending the board body to form an extended film, thereby forming an extended film having properties of high thermal-resistance and high transparency, the film thus obtained is applicable for packaging use.

Extended film and the manufacturing method thereof

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a polyester film with low thermal expansion. 95 wt % to 55 wt % of crystalline polyester and 5 wt % to 45 wt % of amorphous polyester are mixed. The blend is then melt extruded to form a sheet. The sheet is then biaxially stretched to obtain a film. The biaxially stretched film is then treated with a heat-setting procedure.

Polyester films with low thermal expansion and methods for manufacturing the same

Disclosed is an amorphous copolyester polymerized of a diacid and diols. The diacid is selected from a group consisting of terephthalic acid, 5-tert-butylisophthalic acid, and dimethyl 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate. The diols are selected at least two from a group consisting of ethylene glycol, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol, and tricyclodecanedimethanol. The molar ratio of the tricyclodecanedimethanol is 30% to 95% of the diols.

Amorphous copolyester, substrate, and optical film

The present disclosure is related to a carbon-nanomaterial-supported catalyst, including: a carbon nanomaterial, and a polymer grafted onto the carbon nanomaterial, wherein the polymer has a repeat unit containing a phosphonium salt and its molecular weight is 1,000-200,000. The disclosure is also related to a method of preparing carbonate, which includes using the carbon nanomaterial-supported catalyst for the cycloaddition reaction of carbon dioxide into the epoxy group.

Carbon nanomaterial-supported catalyst and application thereof in cyclic carbonate synthesis

A method for manufacturing a piezoresistive material, a piezoresistive composition and a pressure sensor device are provided. The piezoresistive composition includes a conductive carbon material, a solvent, a dispersive agent, an unsaturated polyester and a crosslinking agent. The conductive carbon material is selected from a group consisting of multi-wall nanotube, single-wall carbon nanotube, carbon nanocapsule, graphene, graphite nanoflake, carbon black, and a combination thereof. The solvent is selected from a group consisting of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, hexane, propylene glycol mono-methyl ether acetate and a combination thereof. The dispersive agent includes block polymer solution with functional groups providing the affinity. The unsaturated polyester is selected from a group consisting of an ortho-phthalic type unsaturated polyester, an iso-phthalic type unsaturated polyester, and a combination thereof. The crosslinking agent is selected from a group consisting of ethyl methyl ketone peroxide, cyclohexanone diperoxide, dibenzoyl peroxide, tert-butyl peroxybenzoate and a combination thereof.

Method for manufacturing piezoresistive material, piezoresistive composition and pressure sensor device

The disclosed is a comb-shaped graft copolymer, including a back bone of PMMA and side chains of a random copolymer, a block copolymer, or a homopolymer polymerized of a monomer having a carbon-carbon double bond. The monomer can be alkyl acrylate, styrene, and the likes. The side chains terminal is grafted to a nitro-oxy compound.

Comb-shaped graft copolymers and methods of manufacturing the same

The disclosure provides a catalyst carrier, including a nano carbon material; and a polymer grafted on the nano carbon material, wherein the polymer has a repetitive unit comprising a phosphorous atom. The disclosure further provides a catalyst deposited on the catalyst carrier of the disclosure. The catalyst of the disclosure has high reactivity, and is easy to be recovered in C&#x2014;C coupling reactions such as a Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction.

An acrylic copolymer with high heat-resistance is provided. The acrylic copolymer includes repeat units of a monomer of Formula (1) and repeat units of a methacrylic monomer derivative: wherein x is 1-3 and y is 0-3. The acrylic copolymer possesses high heat-resistance and low water absorptivity. The invention also provides a method for preparing the acrylic copolymer.
