The present invention provides a touch display device. A thin film transistor and touch signal lines are disposed on a substrate. A first insulating layer, a first transparent conductive layer and a second insulating layer are disposed on the thin film transistor and the touch signal lines in sequence, wherein the first transparent conductive layer includes pixel electrodes. First connecting holes and second connecting holes are situated in the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer, each first connecting hole exposes a portion of the pixel electrode and a portion of the drain, and each second connecting hole exposes a portion of the touch signal line. A second transparent conductive layer is disposed on the second insulating layer, and includes touch electrodes and connecting electrodes electrically insulated from each other and respectively extending into the first connecting holes and the second connecting holes.

Touch display device and manufacturing method thereof

In a display panel, a first conducting layer is disposed on a substrate and has a touch sensing line. A first insulation layer is disposed on a first conducting layer with a first opening exposing the touch sensing line as a first connection part. A second insulation layer is disposed on the first insulation layer with a second opening. A first electrode is disposed on the second insulation layer with a third opening that is overlapped with the second opening. A third insulation layer is disposed on the first electrode with a fourth opening exposing the first electrode as a second connection part. The fourth opening overlaps with the third opening. A second electrode is disposed on the third insulation layer and is connected to the first connection part and the second connection part through the first to fourth openings.

Display panel and method for manufacturing the same

A display panel includes the following components. A metal layer includes a touch sensing line and a data line. An insulation layer is disposed on the metal layer and has a first opening used to expose at least a portion of the touch sensing line as a first connection part. A common electrode is disposed on the insulation layer. The common electrode is part of a touch electrode, and the common electrode has a second opening above the first opening. Another insulation layer is disposed on the common electrode, and has a third opening above the second opening to expose at least a portion of the common electrode as a second connection part. The connection electrode electrically connects the first connection part to the second connection part through the third opening, the second opening and the first opening.

Display panel and manufacturing method thereof

A touch-sensing electrode structure includes multiple first electrodes and multiple second electrodes. Each of the first electrodes includes at least a first major part and a second major part, the first major part and the second major part cross over each other to form at least one interconnect section, the interconnect section includes a first connecting line extending in a first direction and a second connecting line extending in a second direction different to the first direction. Each of the second electrodes includes a plurality of electrode sections and third connecting lines, each of the third connecting lines is connected between two adjacent electrode sections, the third connecting lines extend in a third direction different to the first direction and the second direction, and at least one of the third connecting lines overlaps the interconnect section.

Touch-sensing electrode structure and touch-sensitive device

A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, a source driving circuit, a timing controller, and a gate driving circuit. The source driving circuit converts frame data into a plurality of data voltages, and charges/discharges a first data line according to a data voltage of the plurality of data voltages. The gate driving circuit enables a gate line corresponding to the data voltage. The timing controller sequentially enables a plurality of switch enable lines corresponding to the gate line. A plurality of pixel switches are turned on according to the enabled gate line. A data line switch is turned on according to an enabled switch enable line. The data voltage charges/discharges a corresponding pixel through the turned-on data line switch and one of the turned-on pixel switches.

Liquid crystal display and method of charging/discharging pixels of a liquid crystal display

The present invention discloses a touch panel, having a light transmission touch sensing region and a peripheral region adjacent to at least one side of the light transmission touch sensing region. The touch panel includes a substrate, a patterned decoration frame, a decoration layer, and at least one touch sensing element. The patterned decoration frame is disposed on a surface of the substrate and in the peripheral region. The decoration layer is disposed on the patterned decoration frame, and the touch sensing element is disposed in the light transmission touch sensing region.

Touch panel and fabrication method thereof

A touch panel including a substrate, first electrodes, second electrodes, first wires, second wires and a means for shortening a gap between the second electrodes in a third direction is provided. The first electrodes are arranged sequentially in a first direction. Each first electrode has openings arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The second electrodes are located in the openings. Each first electrode and the second electrodes surrounded by the first electrode constitute a sensing unit. The first wires and the second wires connect the first electrodes and the second electrodes to a driving circuit. The means for shortening the gap between the second electrodes in the third direction renders a ratio of the gap between the second electrodes in the third direction to that in the second direction to be smaller than 1:3.4, where the third direction intersects either the first direction or the second direction.

Touch panel

A touch panel, including a substrate, first electrodes, second electrodes, first connecting lines, first pads, second connecting lines, and second pads, is provided. The first electrodes are arranged in an array to define a plurality of columns each parallel to a first direction and a plurality of rows each parallel to a second direction intersecting the first direction. Each of the second electrodes is extended in the first direction. The second electrodes are sequentially arranged in the second direction so that one column of the first electrodes is disposed between two adjacent second electrodes. The first connecting lines connect the first electrodes in the same row into a series connected to one first pad. The second electrodes are connected to the second pads through the second connecting lines. The first electrodes, the second electrodes, the first connecting lines, and the second connecting lines do not intersect one another.

A shift register includes a signal input unit for receiving and providing an input signal, a signal output unit for controlling whether outputting a clock signal according to the input signal provided by the signal input unit, and a plurality of stable modules. Each of the stable modules is electrically coupled to an output terminal of the signal input unit, an output terminal of the signal output unit, and a default potential. Each of the stable modules receives a corresponding operation signal and is enabled in a duty of the corresponding operation signal, such that both the output terminal of the signal input unit and the output terminal of the signal output unit are electrically coupled to the default potential when the input signal is disabled. Before one of the stable modules is disabled, another of the stable modules has already been enabled.

Shift register and driving method thereof

The disclosure provides a gate driving circuit on array applied to a display panel with charge sharing pixel structure. In particular, the gate driving circuit is adapted to receive multi-phase clock signal and includes a plurality of shift registers. Each shift register includes a driving circuit including a first driving transistor and a second driving transistor, a pull-down unit and at least one pull-up unit, so that is capable of generating mutually non-overlapped main gate driving signal and sub gate driving signal. Furthermore, the advantage of the disclosure is to provide a gate driving circuit with simplified circuit structure and circuit layout.

Gate driving circuit on array applied to charge sharing pixel

Disclosed is a driver circuit structure integrated in a display panel. The driver circuit structure includes a plurality of transistors and a backup transistor. After completing the driver circuit structure, the disclosure inspects it to find an inactive transistor. The inspection process first, isolates the electrical connection between the inactive transistor and the first electrode line and/or the electrical connection between the inactive transistor and the second electrode line. Next, the source electrode of the backup transistor and the first electrode line and/or electrically connecting the drain electrode of the backup transistor and the second electrode line are electrical connected.

Method for repairing driver circuit structure

A shift register including a plurality of multi-stage shift register circuits is provided. The mstage shift register circuit includes a node, a shift register unit and a control circuit. A first control signal, enabled in an mperiod, is defined on the node. The shift register unit is controlled by an (m&#x2212;1)stage output signal provided by an (m&#x2212;1)stage shift register circuit and a clock signal for providing the enabled mstage output signal in the mperiod, and controlled by an (m+1)stage second control signal provided by an (m+1)stage shift register circuit for providing a disenabled mstage output signal in the (m+1)period. The control circuit, controlled by the clock signal, provides and outputs an mstage second control signal to the (m&#x2212;1)stage shift register circuit according to the mstage first control signal, wherein m is a natural number greater than 1.

Shift register and gate driver with compensation control

A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixel driving circuits and a pixel array. Each pixel driving circuit of the plurality of pixel driving circuits includes four thin film transistors and has four output terminals, where each thin film transistor is used for driving an output terminal of the four output terminals, and the four output terminals are coupled to two gate lines and two sharing lines respectively for outputting two main output signals and two sharing output signals. The phases and timings of the two main output signals and the two sharing output signals are all the same. A pixel of the pixel array is charged/discharged to a specific voltage level according to a main output signal of the two main output signals, a sharing output signal, and a signal of a data line.

Liquid crystal display device with a reduced fabrication area

A decoration plate and an electronic apparatus having the same are provided. The decoration plate includes a cover plate, a conductive ring, an insulating layer, and a conductive element. The conductive ring is disposed on a surface of the cover plate. The insulating layer is disposed on the surface of the cover plate and covers the conductive ring, and the insulating layer has at least one opening. The conductive element is disposed in the opening.

Decoration plate and electronic apparatus having the same

A touch panel and a method of fabricating the same and touch-sensing display device are provided. The touch panel includes a cover plate, a touch sensing element, and an atomic layer-deposited (ALD) film. The cover plate has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface. The top surface opposites to the bottom surface and the side surface connects the upper surface with the bottom surface. The touch sensing element is disposed on the bottom surface of the cover plate. The ALD layer completely covers the touch sensing element and completely covers the top surface, the side surface, and a portion of the bottom surface uncovered by the touch sensing element.
