An electromagnet device for an electromagnetic contactor is formed of a frame with an opening, a movable-contact supporter slidably disposed in the frame, a movable contact supported by the movable-contact supporter, a movable core connected to the movable-contact supporter, and a stationary core for attracting the movable core. The stationary core includes a base plate for closing the opening of the frame, at least one columnar arm core fixed to the base plate to extend therefrom, and at least one pole piece fixed to the arm core at a side opposite to the base plate. The pole piece provides attracting force to the movable core when the stationary core is energized. In the electromagnetic device, a device for partly interrupting a magnetic path of the stationary core is formed. The interrupting device reduces remanent flux in the stationary core when the stationary core is deenergized.

Electromagnet device for electro-magnetic contactor

A thermal overload relay is formed of a case for retaining the relay and having an insertion hole, an adjusting device for adjusting a working current of the relay and situated inside the insertion hole, and a cover for covering the adjusting device and situated in the insertion hole. The case includes a first coupling device formed around the insertion hole. The cover is formed of a transparent plate and includes a smooth upper surface, a second coupling device formed on a side surface and engageable with the first coupling device, and a handle formed on the upper surface of the cover for handling the cover. When the cover is disposed in the insertion hole, the first and second coupling devices are engaged, wherein the upper surface of the cover is located below an upper surface of the case. The cover can be fixed to the case such that the cover can be removed from the case or permanently fixed to the case.

Thermal overload relay with mis-readjustment preventing device

A structure for reducing impact force due to the collision of a movable iron core (4) against a fixed iron core (3), especially, impact force exerted against a bottom plate of a lower casing (2) where electromagnetic contactor mounting portions are provided. A back portion of the fixed iron core (3) is put on the bottom plate of the lower casing (2) through a convex leaf spring (14) which has opposite end portions bent at right angles to form lower pressure-receiving surfaces (14a) and side pressure-receiving surfaces (14b) so that the lower pressure-receiving surfaces (14a) and the side pressure-receiving surfaces (14b) are brought into contact with the bottom plate of the lower casing (2) and with side walls of the lower casing (2), respectively.

Iron core retaining structure of electromagnetic contactor

A terminal device for connecting an end portion of an exciting coil to an external conductor, said exciting coil being formed on a bobbin and operating, for example, a contact of an electromagnetic contactor. The terminal device includes a terminal base mounted on the bobbin, an electrically conductive terminal plate, and means for mounting the terminal plate to the terminal base such that a force exerted on the terminal plate at its end connected to the external conductor is not transmitted to the end portion of the exciting coil.

A contact device includes a housing, a fixed contact, and a moving contact attached to a support frame, the support frame and moving contact movable within the housing perpendicular to the fixed contact. A stopping arm projects from the support frame to restrict movement of the support frame within the housing.

Auxiliary contact unit for an electromagnetic switch

An electromagnetic contactor includes an engaging portion formed on a side surface of its body and disposed below a coil terminal. An attachment is releasably attached to the body of the electromagnetic contactor. The attachment includes a casing containing an electric component, the casing having a resilient projection formed on a side surface thereof. The resilient projection is resiliently engageable releasably with the engaging portion. The attachment has a plate-like connecting element projecting outwardly from the casing. The connecting element is connectable with the coil terminal when the attachment casing is attached to the body of the electromagnetic contactor.

Electromagnetic contactor

An electromagnetic contactor coupling device, in which electromagnetic contactors are put side by side with an interlock unit sandwiched therebetween for preventing the electromagnetic contactors from simultaneously turning on, and are integrally coupled to each other by a coupler. The device is arranged to have abutment portions wider at its rear end than at its front end so that, in order to prevent displacement of the interlock unit due to vibrations or the like, force for sandwiching the interlock unit is exerted on the interlock unit as the coupler is inserted between the electromagnetic contactors.

Device for coupling reversible electromagnetic contactors to each other

An electromagnetic contactor includes an arc-extinction cover that prevents an electric arc generated during the disconnection of a fixed contact and a movable contact for bridging adjacent fixed contacts. A removable terminal cover serves to cover terminal screws attached to the fixed contacts. The arc-extinction cover and the terminal cover are separate from the contactor body and are attachable and detachable.
