The electronic device housing employs unique temperature management functions. Thermally sensitive electronic components are thermally isolated from the environment and from temperature generating components provided within the housing through the use of an insulative case material. Furthermore, heat generating components are connected to the outside environment with a conductive thermal path which is isolated from the remaining components provided within the case, thereby efficiently transferring undesired heat to the environment without allowing the heat to substantially affect remaining components in the housing. The electronic device housing includes a case and a cover formed by molding using a synthetic resin, and a metallic layer formed on the surface of the case which cooperates with the cover to provide an electromagnetic shield for the case. Further, a waterproof seal is provided in the abutment between the case and the cover and the heat radiating effect of the case is enhanced by a heat radiation plate provided outside the case and connected to any heat generating components. The electronic device of such construction is easy to machine, light in weight and inexpensive.

Electronic device housing with temperature management functions

A portable radiotelephone device in which a radio device body is mounted in form of a wristwatch on an arm by means of a carrying strap. An antenna, a power source and a voice transmission tube are provided on the carrying strap separately from and independently of the radio device body. With this, there is provided a portable radiotelephone device which can realize miniaturization of the entire device and enhancement of productivity, and which can obtain a sending speech mouth piece and an ear piece securing a spacing between the ear and the mouth during telephone conversation which has a high antenna efficiency and while preventing feedback between sending speech sound and receiving sound.

Portable radio telephone device

A device mounting appliance comprising a device and a mounting appliance, the device mounting appliance including at least three combined leg-lugs formed on a mounting surface of the device; recesses formed in the combined leg-lugs, respectively; a fixing lug formed on the mounting surface of the device so as to be positioned within a polygon formed by connecting the combined leg-lugs; a movable lever attached to the mounting appliance, the lever having a hook portion and a wobbling preventing projection and being urged in one direction by a spring; and a guide provided on the mounting appliance and engaged with lugs of the appliance which are fitted into the recesses of the combined leg-lugs when the device on the mounting appliance is slid a predetermined distance, and also engaged with the combined leg-lugs upon such sliding of the device, wherein when the device on the mounting appliance is slid, the lever is once moved by the fixing lug of the device against the spring and then, at the end of the sliding motion, it is returned by the spring, allowing the hook portion to grip the fixing lug substantially in the sliding direction, and at the same time, the wobbling preventing projection of the lever is brought into pressure contact with the fixing lug, whereby the device can be easily fixed firmly to the mounting appliance without wobbling and can be easily detached therefrom.

Device mounting appliance

In a mounting structure of an acoustic component for mounting the acoustic component to a casing of an electronic equipment, the acoustic component is fitted in a cylindrical hole of a spacer that is formed of a resilient material. The spacer is fitted in a cylindrical hole of a mounting part which fits in or forms part of a casing of the electronic equipment. The spacer and the mounting part have a sound path aperture for allowing the passage of sound into and out of the casing. The mounting part is provided with a sound path groove along its outer surface for communicating with the sound path aperture of the mounting part. Because of the sound path groove, an accidental placement of an obstacle, such as a finger, cannot block the passage of the sound into or out of the sound path aperture.

Mounting structure of a small-sized acoustic component

A portable wireless communication apparatus of new type is provided. The apparatus is composed of a handset type substantially parallelopiped body which is to be used in combination with a battery pack in a portable mode and a support tray installed in a passenger car room for hand-free use. The top surface of the body is provided with a key operating section, a display section and a speaker. All of them are in the user's sight while the apparatus is being used in the hand-free mode. In the portable mode, on the other hand, all the user has to do is only take up the apparatus away from the tray after the key board operation, hold the receiving section against the ear and talk into the transmitting section without changing the grip.
