There is provided a steering wheel that can reduce the load applied to an elastic body included in a dynamic damper to lengthen the life of the dynamic damper, and that allows the frequency of the dynamic damper to be adjusted easily. An insulatorincludes a first flange portionprovided between a stopperand an elastic body, and a second flange portionprovided between a coil springand the elastic body. The elastic bodyincludes a first diameter-increased portionincreased in diameter to be contactable with the first flange portion, and a second diameter-increased portionincreased in diameter to be contactable with the second flange portion. A contact surface of the first flange portionwith the first diameter-increased portionhas a plurality of linear projectionsarranged in a substantially radial fashion.

Steering wheel

A steering wheel structure with an airbag module having a horn bracket fixed to a steering wheel, an airbag module having an inflator and serving as a weight, a spring unit installed between the airbag module and the horn bracket and transmitting vibrations of the steering wheel to the airbag module for configuring a dynamic damper. The spring unit including an elastic body that transmits the vibrations and a protector attached to the horn bracket and housing the elastic body therein in an elastically deformable manner.

The steering wheel has a first horn plate (), a second horn plate (), guide pins (), stoppers (), bushes (), elastic members (), and coil springs (); the bushes () are divided into first bushes () which have first flanges (), openings (), columnar parts (); and recessed parts (), and second bushes () which have second flanges (), openings (, and casings (); and the columnar parts () are configured so as to be in contact with the second flanges ().
