A fuel gas has a gas including at least 40 weight % or more of 1-butene and propane, or at least 56 weight % or more of 1-butene and propylene. A combustion type power tool is driven by the fuel gas. A compressed gas container for a combustion type power tool has an inner side vessel filled with the fuel gas. When the fuel gas includes propane, 1-butene may be equal to or higher than 59 weight % and equal to or lower than 95 weight %. When the fuel gas includes propylene, the 1-butene may be equal to or higher than 70 weight % and equal to or lower than 96 weight %.

A combustion-type power tool includes a housing, a cylinder head disposed at one end of the housing, a cylinder in the housing, a piston slidably disposed in the cylinder, and a driver blade connected to the piston. A combustion-chamber is provided in the housing, a fan is disposed in the combustion chamber, and a motor having an output shaft is coupled to the fan. A motor holder accommodates the motor, and the cylinder head is formed with a motor holder receiving portion in which the motor holder is slidably movably disposed. An elastic member is disposed in a gap formed between the motor holder and the motor holder receiving portion.

Combustion-type power tool

In the combustion-type power tool, a first shelter wall and a second shelter wall are disposed to partially surround an area between an ignition plug and an ignition ground. Two gaps are provided between the first and second shelter walls. The first shelter wall extends radially outwardly from an outer peripheral surface of a motor boss, and also protrudes from an end face in an axial direction of a fan shaft. The first shelter wall has a lower end surface inclined such that an axial length between the end face and the lower end surface is gradually reduced toward radially outer end of the first shelter wall.

Fuel canister

A combustion-type nail driver uses a motor for driving a fan. A motor holder formed from plastic accommodates the motor. A cylinder head has a motor holder receiving portion in which the motor holder is slidably movably disposed. A coil spring has one end secured to the motor holder and another end secured to the cylinder head to thereby support the motor holder. Initial acceleration applied to the motor when combustion occurs can be suppressed and impact imparted upon the motor can also be suppressed by friction between the outer periphery of the motor holder and the inner periphery of the motor holder receiving portion. A heat shielding plate is interposed between the lower end surface of the motor and the cylinder head in order to prevent hot air combustion gas from entering into the motor.

Fuel canister dispensing valve

A nailing machine, in which a part constituting a nose is changed so as to increase the service life of a driver blade for driving a nail. The nailing machine includes a nose having a nose hole in which the nail is supplied, and the driver blade made of metal. At least a part of a surface of the nose hole to be in contact with a front surface of the driver blade is provided with a protective body. The protective body is made of an organic material or a composite material of an organic material and a metal material. Due to this, direct mutual contact of the metal parts is prevented.

Nailing machine

A pneumatic nailing machine having a, driving depth controlling mechanism. The pneumatic nailing machine includes a push lever having a lower end in pressure contact with a workpiece and another end in association with a trigger. Vertical moving length of the push lever relative to a nose will change the driving depth. An eccentric body is rotatably supported on the main body. The eccentric body is positioned above the upper tip of the push lever and the upper position of the upper tip of the push lever is regulated by the eccentric body. If the eccentric body is angularly rotated to a first angular position, the push lever can be moved to its highest position for providing a minimum distance between the lower tip of the push lever and a lower tip of the nose to provide the maximum driving depth. If the eccentric body is angularly rotated to a second angular position, the distance between these tips become maximum to provide a minimum driving depth. If the eccentric body is rotated to a third angular position, the trigger is abuttable on the upper tip of the push lever for preventing pivotal movement of the trigger.

Adjustment mechanism for adjusting depth at which pneumatic nailing

A sharpshooting nail gun capable of driving a nail into an intended spot. The nail gun includes a bit guide having an injection groove through which a nail and a drive bit pass. A contact arm is movably supported to the bit guide. The contact arm has a lower tapered end portion abuttable against a wall or attachment member, and an upper portion engageable with a trigger. When the contact arm is biased toward the wall, the upper portion is disengaged from the trigger for allowing the trigger to be manipulatable. The lower portion of the contact arm protrudes from a lower end of the bit guide, and is provided with an injection bore extending in alignment with the injection groove.

Nail gun having sharpshooting tapered end

A driving machine having a cylinder fixing arrangement. The driving machine is used for driving a fastener such as a nail into a workpiece. For this, a cylinder-piston arrangement is provided. When the piston is driven to drive the fastener a reaction force is applied to the cylinder. To avoid displacement of the cylinder due to the reaction force, the cylinder fixing arrangement is provided. The fixing arrangement includes a detachable stop washer secured in an annular groove of the cylinder. The stop washer is partly engaged with a flange of the cylinder to prevent the cylinder from its upward displacement. Inner diametrical differences are provided in the cylinder at the position around the stop washer.

A power-driven hand-held fastener driving machine includes a housing including a reciprocally movable blade, a magazine for carrying a strip of fasteners such as staples, and a guide assembly composed of first and second guides defining a drive track therebetween. A safety device is actuatable in response to being pressed against a workpiece for depressing a switch means to move the blade for driving fasteners one at a time into the workpiece. The safety device is composed of first and second separate members, the first member being engageable with the switch means and the second member being angularly movable into and out of engagement with the first member and engageable with the workpiece. When the second member is out of engagement with the first member, the first member will not actuate the switch means to prevent accidental driving of the blade. A guide locking device keeps the first and second guides together, and, when unlocked, allows the second guide to be angularly moved away from the first guide to open the drive track.
