Embodiments of the present invention may include beading for decorating a target member. The beading has a linear member, a leg portion and a colored portion. The linear member has a main portion formed of a light-transmitting material. The linear member has a first end and a second end opposite the first end on an outer periphery thereof. The leg portion extends from the first end of the linear member. The leg portion has a sewn portion that is sewn onto the target member by sewing thread. The colored portion is provided in the linear member or the leg portion. The colored portion has a smaller quantity of transmitting light than that of the main portion. The colored portion is situated and configured to suppress the visibility of the sewing thread when the linear member is seen from above the second end.

Beadings

An attaching member includes a cover attaching portion to which a portion of a cover directly or indirectly attaches, a board attaching portion to which one end of a board member attaches, and an engaging portion that engages with a frame member. The portion of the cover is attached to the cover attaching portion, the board member is attached to the board attaching portion, mutual positions of the portion of the cover and the board member are fixed, and the engaging portion is engaged with the frame member.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat is such that a seating surface is formed by a plurality of pad block portions, each of which has a convex shape due to a pleat structure, that are fit together, with a sectional shape in a width direction of the seating surface being a concave shape. Even at a location of the seating surface formed in the concave shape that is affected by a difference in body shape of a seated person, a shape of the location is formed in a shape following the body shape of the seated person.

A vehicle seat cover including separately formed parts that are configured to wrap a seat main body and are joined by a joining unit, wherein a band-shaped covering member, which can visually cover a joining state by the joining unit, is disposed in an annular shape, the covering member provided to overhang in an inner side direction of the annular shape, wherein the joining unit is disposed in an inner side position of the annular shape of the covering member along a position in which the covering member is disposed, and wherein in the covering member, an inserting structure is formed into which a string-shaped member can be inserted into a part that overhangs in the inner side direction of the annular shape along an longitudinal direction of the covering member, and the string-shaped member inserted into the inserting structure is tightened.

Vehicle seat cover

A seat covering structure for covering a seat having a covering member may include a detachable seat cover. The detachable seat cover includes a seat cover body that is shaped to cover an outer surface of the seat, and at least one elastic band that is attached to a rear surface of the seat cover body. The at least one elastic band is arranged and constructed to be stretched so as to follow the outer surface of the seat when the seat cover body is applied to the seat. The seat cover body is arranged and constructed to follow the outer surface of the seat with the at least one elastic band when the at least one elastic band is stretched.

Seat covering structures

A front-lower arm portion is disposed in the forward direction of a vehicle, while a rear-lower arm portion is disposed in the rearward direction of the vehicle. The rear-lower arm portion is formed of a material having greater tensile strength and compressive strength than that of the front-lower arm portion. A rear end portion of the front-lower arm portion is overlaid with a front end portion of the rear-lower arm portion, thereby securing both end portions together by means of a rivet.

Seat frame for a vehicle

A controller for a vehicle seat for optimally controlling the posture of a vehicle seat. An amount of a running condition of the vehicle is detected, and a controlled variable for a posture of the seat for appropriately holding an inertial force acting on an occupant seated in the seat is determined in correspondence with the amount of the running condition of the vehicle detected. In addition, an amount of displacement of a posture of the vehicle is detected, and the posture of the seat is controlled on the basis of the controlled variable for the posture of the seat and the amount of displacement of the posture of the vehicle. Since the posture of the seat is controlled in correspondence with not only the running condition of the vehicle but postural displacement of the vehicle, the holding characteristic of the driver's seat improves and permits driving with a comfortable and more stable posture.

System for accommodating sitting attitude of vehicle occupant

A vehicle seat having a backrest hinged to a seat squab frame by means of a pair of reclining mechanisms to be tilted forwardly or backwardly with respect to the seat squab frame, the reclining mechanisms each including a ratchet member secured to each side of the lower end portion of the backrest frame to be locked to a support member secured to each side of the rear end portion of the seat squab frame, which vehicle seat includes a single strut member rotatably connected at its upper end to an upper end of the backrest at one side thereof to be moved forwardly or backwardly, and a resilient member mounted on the upper end of the backrest frame for biasing the strut member forwardly, wherein the ratchet member located at the same side as the one side of the backrest is formed with a semi-circular elongated hole of which the radius center is located at a rotation fulcrum of the strut member, and wherein the lower end of the strut member is slidably engaged with the semi-circular elongated hole and is normally positioned at a forward end of the elongated hole under load of said resilient member.

Vehicle seats

A detachable-type vehicle sun shade apparatus is disclosed for use in vehicles having glass sun roofs installed between a center roof material and an exterior panel, both of which define an opening. The opening has a flange mounted trim strip therearound and a holder is mounted along a first edge of the opening. A sun shade has a first edge receivable between the holder and the trim strip. A stopper is rotatably mounted on the sun shade adjacent the second edge of the sun shade, with the stopper including edge engaging structure for engaging the trim strip along a second edge of the opening which is adjacent the second edge of the sun shade. A knob is provided for rotating the stopper and bringing the edge engaging structure into engagement with the trim strip along the second edge of the opening. The second edge of the sun shade is pressed against the trim strip along the second edge of the opening when the stopper is rotated to a position where the edge engaging structure engages the trim strip along the second edge of the opening.

Detachable-type vehicle sun shade

A rear seat of an automobile, capable of selectively securing thereto with either one of a separate type seat back divided into two sections in the widthwise direction of the automobile, the respective sections being forwardly foldable independently of each other, and including a frame which includes reinforcement members to reinforce the outer peripheries of the main panels, or a bench type seat back being integral in the widthwise direction of the automobile and forwardly foldable, wherein a frame of the bench type seat back is of such an arrangement that the right and left main panels in the separate type seat back are integrally connected through reinforcement members to each other in such a manner that the two main panels are parallelly arranged on the right and left.
