A polyester film made of a mixture comprising a thermoplastic polyester (A) as a matrix component and a thermoplastic polyamide (B) having a glass transition temperature higher than the thermoplastic polyester (A), as a dispersed component, or a laminated film having a surface layer made of said mixture, wherein the film surface has fine protuberances formed with said thermoplastic polyamide (B) as nuclei.

Polyester film

A thermal transfer medium which has a heat meltable or heatsublimable ink layer on one side of a stretched polyamide film which mainly consists of polytetramethylenediapamide and has a melting point of at least 270.degree. C. The film shows good heat resistance and nonsticking properties.

A polyamide film prepared from a polyamide composition comprised of at least 60% by weight of polytetramethyleneadipamide or a copolymer polyamide containing at least 60% by weight of a polytetramethyleneadipamide component, said film being at least monoaxially stretched at a stretching ratio of at least 1.5, said film having a characteristic value .DELTA.T of from 30.degree. to 60.degree. Matte film

A process for producing a piezo- and pyro-electric film, which comprises biaxially stretching a single- or multi-layered thermoplastic film containing from 3 to 80% by volume, as an average based on the entire film, of a ferroelectric substance, then subjecting the stretched film to polarization treatment by applying a high voltage at a temperature within a range of from 10.degree. C. to a temperature lower than the melting point of said thermoplastic resin, and cooling the film while continuously applying the high voltage.

Stretched fluorine type film and method for manufacture thereof

A high dielectric-constant film is disclosed. The film may be comprised of one or more layers. At least one layer is comprised of a thermoplastic polymer having dispersed therein a ferroelectric substance having a dielectric-constant of at least 10. The ferroelectric substance is present in an amount of 5% to 80% by weight based on the weight of the entire film. The film provides a high dielectric-constant and can be produced easily and economically.

A biaxially drawn thermoplastic polyester film is prepared by concurrent-biaxially drawing a thermoplastic polyester film by a tenter method at a drawing temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic polyester while maintaining the preheating temperature of the film just prior to drawing at a level greater than the drawing temperature and maintaining the subsequent heat-treating temperature immediately after drawing lower than the preheating temperature and carrying out a reheat-treating process in a plurality of steps while elevating the temperature in each step over a substantially equal temperature range.
