A derailment detection apparatus for an elevator includes a conductive line, an upper support device configured to support an upper end portion of the conductive line, a lower support device configured to support a lower end portion of the conductive line, a contact element, which is installed on an ascending/descending body, and is brought into contact with the conductive line when the ascending/descending body derails from guide rail, and a detection unit configured to detect contact of the contact element with the conductive line. The lower support device is fixed to the guide rail by fastening a fastener, and is allowed to move upward and downward along the guide rail by loosening the fastener. The lower support device includes a guide portion configured to guide upward and downward movement of the lower support device along the guide rail.

Elevator derailment detection device

This invention is concerning a car suspending pulley device including a pair of beams provided parallel to each other on a lower portion of a car and a car suspending pulley arranged between the pair of beams and supported by the pair of beams. A weight suspending pulley is provided on a counterweight. The car and the counterweight are suspended from a main rope wrapped around the car suspending pulley and the weight suspending pulley. A compensating member is suspended between the beams and the counterweight. The compensating member includes a funicular body having a first end portion connected to only one of the pair of beams and a second end portion connected to the counterweight. The first end portion of the funicular body is located in a region of the one beam when viewed in a vertical direction.

Elevator

In a double-deck elevator, a car apparatus includes: a main frame; an upper car and a lower car that are disposed inside the main frame so as to be able to move vertically; and a car suspending body that suspends the upper car and the lower car on the main frame so as to counterbalance each other. A stopper sheave is disposed on a lower portion of the main frame. A flexible stopper cord-like body is wound onto the stopper sheave. The stopper cord-like body is connected to the upper car on a first side of the stopper sheave and is connected to the lower car on a second side of the stopper sheave.

Double-deck elevator

A hoisting machine is interposed between a wall of a hoistway and a car when viewed in a horizontally-projected perspective, and a drive sheave is located opposite the wall of the hoistway. Vibration prevention members are located between the hoisting machine and a mount member attached to fixing members in the hoistway. The vibration prevention members are located at surfaces of upper and lower portions of the mount member facing the hoisting machine, supporting the hoisting machine on the mount member from underside. As a result, vibration control of the hoisting machine can be readily achieved, and the torque acting on the hoisting machine is supported by horizontal rigidity of the vibration prevention member. Consequently, the hoisting machine can be attached to the mount member without failure. Vibration and noise, which would arise during operation of an elevator in a hoistway of a building, is reduced, thereby making the environment of the elevator silent.

Elevator system

An elevator governor has two balancing springs, i.e., a first balancing spring for continually urging flyweights in a direction against a centrifugal force and a second balancing spring for urging flyweights in a direction against the centrifugal force only when speed of a cage exceeds a previously set first overspeed. Thereby, two overspeeds may be set independently from each other whereby the setting operation may be facilitated and accuracy in setting the overspeeds may be improved.

Elevator governor

A brake unit for an elevator hoist apparatus for use with an electric motor output shaft includes a brake disc mounted to the motor output shaft and a pair of brake arm assemblies each having a spring-biased pivotable brake arm and a brake shoe attached to one end of the brake arm for frictional engagment with the brake disc. The electromagnetic actuator is connected to the other end of the brake arms for separating the brake shoes from the brake disc against the braking springs. Each brake spring is a coil spring having a longitudinal axis extending parallel to the motor output shaft, whereby the brake unit can be made compact.
