The present invention discloses a method of forming a conductive pattern including the steps of a) printing a conductive pattern onto a surface of a base material having a liquid repellent property, b) providing a lyophilic property to a predetermined area of the surface of the base material which area does not have the conductive pattern printed thereon, and c) forming an insulating layer that covers the conductive pattern.

A dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing device has a groove for generating a dynamic pressure and formed on an inner circumferential face of a rotating shaft or an outer circumferential face of a fixed shaft; each of these shafts being formed by an aluminum alloy; and a wear resisting film formed on each of the inner circumferential face and the outer circumferential face. An ink-jet nozzle for use in an ink-jet printer with stable ink discharging characteristics and excellent machining capability and a method for manufacturing same are provided. The present ink-jet nozzle is generally in the shape of a disc provided with a through-hole in the center which serves as an ink passage. The disc has a double annular structure in which the inner annular portion has the Vickers hardness value in the range between 500 and 600, whereas the outer annular portion has a value approximately a half thereof.

Method of forming plate having fine bores

A method of forming a fine bore having the steps of effecting electro-forming on a core wire to form an electro-cast rod, slicing the electro-cast rod by forming chips each having the core wire and removing the core wire to thereby form in each chip a fine bore of a diameter coinciding with the diameter of the core wire and having a high circularity and cylindricalness. Since the fine bore is constituted by an electro-formed layer, the bore exhibits high wear resistance and, hence, a high durability when used as nozzle bore of an ink jet plotter.
