Disclosed is a toner, composed of at least a resin, a colorant and a releasing agent, wherein a low molecular weight polyolefine polymer synthesized by using a metallocene catalyst is employed as aforesaid releasing agent.

Toner for electrophotography

Disclosed is a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, comprising a binder resin, a colorant and a releasing agent, wherein said toner has: (1) a storage modulus (G') having a falling starting temperature of 45.degree. to 65.degree. C., when a visco-modulus of said toner is measured by a rheometer, (2) a first inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (.eta.'.sub.121)-log (.eta.'.sub.118)) is -0.065 to -0.035 at 120.degree. C. wherein said log (.eta.'.sub.121) represents a common logarithm of a fusion viscosity (.eta. ) of said toner at 121.degree. C., said log (.eta.'.sub.118) represents a common logarithm of a fusion viscosity (.eta. ) of said toner at 118.degree. C., and said first inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (.eta.'.sub.121)-log (.eta.'.sub.118)) represents an inclination of a tangent at 120.degree. C., when said logarithm of said fusion viscosity (.eta. ) is plotted as a function of degree of Celsius, and (3) a second inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (G'.sub.200)-log (G'.sub.197)) is not less than -0.025 at 200.degree. C., wherein said log (G'.sub.200) represents a common logarithm of said storage modulus (G') at 200.degree. C., said log (G'.sub.197) represents a common logarithm of said storage modulus (G') at 197.degree. C., and said second inclination represented by (1/3).times.(log (G'.sub.200)-log (G'.sub.197)) represents an inclination of a tangent at 200.degree. C., when said logarithm of said storage modulus (G') is plotted as a function of degree of Celsius.

Toner for developing an electrostatic latent image

A positive-electrification toner capable being fixed with a hot roller having a fluoro-resin covering layer is disclosed. The toner comprises mother particles containing a resin and a coloring agent, and vinyl resin fine particles fastened to the mother particles by mechanical impact force, wherein the resin has a softening point higher than that of the resin contained in the mother particles and not higher than 160.degree. C. and the vinyl resin fine particles have a frictional negative electrification quantity against iron powder not larger than 100 .mu.c/g. The toner is used for electrophotography, electrostatic printing and electroststic recording.

Positive-electrification toner

This invention relates to a toner for development of electrostatic images to be used for development of electrostatic images formed in electrophotography, electrostatic printing, electrostatic recording, etc., and an image forming method by use thereof. The toner of the present invention uses a resin constituted mainly of a copolymer comprising a crystalline polymer block and an amorphous polymer block chemically bound together, the cyrstalline polymer block has a specific melting point, the amorphous polymer block has a specific glass transition point, the moduli of the toner has a value with a specific range, and therefore according to the present invention, a toner excellent in durability can be provided, which is capable of fixing sufficiently even at a low temperature and yet also good in off-set resistance within such a temperature range, further having excellent anti-blocking characteristic, flowability, charging characteristic, anti-filming characteristic, cleaning property, thus being capable of forming good visible images stably.

Toner for development of electrostatic images and image forming method

Disclosed is a toner powder for developing latent electrostatic images comprising as a binder for pigment material a block or graft copolymer composed of a crystalline polyester and an amorphous vinyl polymer. The amorphous vinyl polymer has at least two peaks in its molecular weight distribution curve. One is between 100,000 and 1,000,000 and another is between 2000 and 20,000.

Powdered electrostatic image developing toner

Toner for developing an electrostatic latent image comprising (a) a polyester resin of a non-linear copolymer having, as its side chain, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing therein 3 to 22 carbon atoms, said copolymer being obtained from polymerization of an etherified bisphenol monomer, a di-carboxilic acid monomer, and a polyhydric alcohol of tri-hydric or more and/or a monomer component containing a polycarboxylic acid monomer of tricarboxylic acid or more carboxylic or more, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (b) an alkylene-bis-aliphatic acid amide compound represented by the general formula; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently selected from saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having not less than 10 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom and a group represented by --OCR.sub.5 wherein R.sub.5 is a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group and n is a positive integer and (c) a wax containing not less than 20% by weight of ester component, the needle penetration degree of wax being not more than 4.

Process for developing latent electrostatic image using toner containing

An electrostatic image developing toner useful for the formation of a toner image by electrophotographic process which employs a heat-fixing method by the use of a heat roller under pressure, wherein said toner comprises as the essential constituents a nonlinear polymer, a low-melting polymer which has a melting point of from 50.degree. to 130.degree. C. and which is incompatible with said nonlinear polymer, a copolymer composed of a segment polymer which is at least compatible with the above nonlinear polymer and a segment polymer which is at least compatible with said low-melting polymer and a coloring agent.
