A composition for accelerating healing of a wound is disclosed, comprising as an active ingredient a compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted with a halogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl group, a hydroxyl group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy group; and X represents a 1-imidazolyl group or a 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl group.
