A drive bush configured to circumferentially rotate and drive a pair of wedge members in an eccentric space includes a cylindrical portion rotatably supported inside a boss portion of an internal tooth constituting member, a flange portion integrally formed at a first end portion in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion so as to face one side surface side of the wedge members, and a pushing portion integrally provided on the outer peripheral side of the flange portion, and configured to release a wedge effect by circumferentially pushing the wedge members. The inner surface of the cylindrical portion is integrally formed with a wall portion, and the wall portion is formed with, in the middle thereof, a female spline teeth meshing with the output shaft of a motor. The cylindrical portion, the wall portion including the female spline teeth and the flange portion have substantially the same thickness.

Seat reclining apparatus and method for manufacturing seat reclining apparatus

A vehicle seat recliner for reclining a seat back with respect to a seat base, includes an internal gear member, an external gear member, a drive member, a lock member, a biasing member, and a cover. The drive member causes relative rotation between the internal gear member and the external gear member. The lock member and the biasing member operate for selectively locking and unlocking relative rotation between the internal gear member and the external gear member. The cover covers an outside of the external gear member. The outside of the external gear member includes fitting projections, wherein the fitting projections project toward the cover, and are arranged concentrically. Each of the fitting projections includes a radial inside fixed to the cover by press-fitting and recess-projection fitting, and includes a radial outside configured to be fitted to a mounting hole of the second frame.

A geared motor including a case body, a case cover cooperating with the case body to form a case, each of the case body and the case cover including at least three mount holes into which bolts are inserted to couple the case to a member to which the geared motor is mounted, the mount holes of the case body and the mount holes of the case cover being formed around cylindrical bores of the case body and the case cover in axial alignment with each other, and generally cylindrical collars inserted into and extending over the mount holes of the case body and the mount holes of the case cover which are axially aligned with each other.

An automotive seat reclining device includes a first rotation member connected to one of a seat back and a seat cushion and having an internal gear and a bearing sleeve coaxial with the internal gear, a second rotation member connected to the other of the seat back and the seat cushion and having an external gear and a bearing bore coaxial with the external gear, a pair of wedge members disposed in a circular eccentric space between the bearing sleeve and the bearing bore and a drive member inserted in the eccentric space to move the mesh of the internal and external gears by pushing the wedge members and rotate the second rotation member relative to the first rotation member. Each of the wedge members has an inner circumferential surface formed with a recessed section and two contact sections for contact with an outer circumferential surface of the bearing sleeve.
