A vortex-flow blower device includes an impeller having a plurality of fins, a blower housing that has a vortex flow chamber for accommodating the impeller and extends from a start point on a side of a the fluid inlet port to an end point on a side of a fluid discharge port along the plurality of fins, a partitioning portion that blocks a communication between the end point and the start point in the vortex flow chamber, and a thermal fuse that is provided in the blower housing. The thermal fuse can be fused by a temperature rise so as to discharge the fluid on the side of the fluid discharge port to an outside, or communicate with the side of the fluid discharge port to the side of the fluid inlet port in the vortex flow chamber when the thermal fuse is fused.

Vortex-flow blower device

A self-opened type valve is opened by motor torque of an electric motor. Therefore, a diaphragm is not necessary for opening the valve, and downsizing of a valve drive apparatus for opening the valve is possible. Since the valve is assembled to the motor shaft of the electric air pump via a motion-direction conversion mechanism, an opening action of the valve can start in a short time after a rotational action of the impeller of the electric air pump starts, so that control responsiveness is improved. At a rotation stop of the impeller of the electric air pump, the valve can be maintained in a fully closed condition by an urging force of the coil spring, thereby preventing exhaust gases or condensed water from entering into an inside of the electric air pump.

Electric air pump apparatus and evaporation fuel treatment system

In the disclosed secondary air supply system, an on-off valve () is driven by the discharge pressure of an air pump (). A diaphragm chamber () is arranged in the neighborhood of a discharge outlet (), and a part of the discharge air flows directly into the diaphragm chamber (). Thus, the on-off valve () is positively operated even at high places with low atmospheric pressure and has a fast open/close response. As an electromagnetic actuator is not used to drive the on-off valve (), the voltage supplied to the air pump () (DC motor ()) does not drop inconveniently, and at the same time, the cost is reduced. Further, the number of the lead wires () is reduced.

Secondary air supply system

According to the present invention, the exhaust gas recirculation control apparatus includes a first switching valve for controlling communication between the positive pressure supplying source and the control valve. The first switching valve opens only when the control means increases and maintains the predetermined pressure supplied to the EGR valve, and under other conditions, the first switching valve closes, so that the positive pressure of the positive pressure supplying source can be utilized only when needed and the positive pressure accumulated inside the positive pressure supplying source can be prevented from leaking from the control valve. When an air compressor, which is mounted for a braking in a vehicle, is commonly used for the EGR valve as the positive pressure supplying source, air pressure of the brake system in the air compressor can be effectively used, a small-sized EGR apparatus being thereby manufactured.

Exhaust gas recirculation control apparatus for an internal combustion

A negative pressure control valve for generating a negative pressure has an inlet port communicating with a negative pressure source, an outlet port communicating with a negative pressure load, a diaphragm chamber with one surface defined by a diaphragm, and an atmospheric pressure chamber adjacent to the diaphragm chamber through the diaphragm and communicating with atmospheric pressure. The diaphragm holds a valve holding member. A solenoid operated mechanism which moves the valve holding member to a first or second position in accordance with an exciting current is disposed in the atmospheric pressure chamber. The valve holding member has a valve mechanism which communicates the diaphragm chamber with the atmospheric pressure chamber at the first position and seals a channel between those chambers at the second position. The solenoid operated mechanism selectively communicates the diaphragm chamber with the atmospheric pressure chamber.

Negative pressure control valve

A vacuum modulating chamber of a vacuum control valve is communicated with a diaphragm chamber of a EGR valve for controlling an amount of exhaust gas to be recirculated into combustion chambers of an engine, so that a modulated negative pressure is applied thereto. The chamber is provided with a diaphragm deflected responding to the negative pressure in the chamber. The vacuum control valve is further provided with a cam member and a spring which urges the diaphragm in one direction so as to change a value at which the pressure in the vacuum modulating chamber is controlled. A push rod is movably held by a cam follower and another spring is provided for urging the push rod in the above direction. The spring force of the other spring is applied to the diaphragm, when a rotational angle of the cam member exceeds a predetermined angle, so that the negative pressure is changed rapidly.
