A new method for generating micro-nano bubbles that uses water hammering, a bubble generating nozzle, and an apparatus for generating micro-nano bubbles are provided to construct a system. The system is for generating micro-nano bubbles in a large amount using only pure water, which does not include any nucleating agents, and for performing not only a clean washing and sterilization but also the generation of uncontaminated micro-nano bubbles. The method defined in the present invention uses water hammering power produced by a mutual collision of jets of dissolved-gas-including solution squirted from two or more spouts. The bubble generating nozzle by the present invention has a configuration, including: a hollow cylinder having two or more small through-holes arrayed in the circumferential direction thereof and a micro-nano bubble discharge port provided on the both ends of the hollow cylinder, wherein the small through-holes are arranged so that all of their extension lines passing through respective center of the cross-section of each of the small through-holes which intersect each other in the inside of the hollow of the cylinder. The apparatus for generating bubble by the present invention has such bubble generating nozzle and has a configuration that enables generation of micro-nano bubbles in a large amount.

An ink-jet printer head is characterized by comprising an organic film coated on the surface of the nozzle plate for discharging ink, in which solid particles having abrasion resistance are dispersed, and a water-repellent film on the surface of the organic film, in which the chains of fluorocarbon polymer is grown. The head shows improved durability of the chains of the fluorocarbon polymer on the nozzle plate during cleaning of the nozzle surface.

To adhere an actuator unit onto one surface of a diaphragm, a dipping plate is used to evenly cling an adhesive agent to tip ends of a plurality of actuators formed in the actuator unit. An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a photoconductive layer comprising a photoconductor, a support for the photoconductive layer and a surface layer formed on the photoconductive layer and comprising a curable resin film and an inorganic insulator pieces having a size larger than the film thickness of the curable resin film. In order to prevent the image blurring of an a-Si:H photoreceptor, on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor was formed a surface layer having a structure in which inorganic insulator pieces have protruded from the curable resin film. Since the curable resin is of high resistance and shows no quality change by corona irradiation, and besides the protruding inorganic insulator pieces prevent the abrasion of the resin, the surface layer having a long life and excellent humidity resistance, durability for corona irradiation and abrasion resistance can be realized. Further, by covering the surface layer with a fluorine-containing lubricant, the surface layer having a low friction coefficient and excellent cleaning characteristics is obtained, and besides the resin constituting the surface layer absorbs little moisture. As a result, it becomes possible to use the a-Si:H photoreceptors without a heater. Also, the surface layer of the present invention can be removed and then re-formed.

An electrophotographic photosensitive element, e.g. for a photocopier or laser printer, comprises a substrate and a plurality of layers on the substrate including a photoconductive layer of a-Si:H and a protective and lubricating layer which is outermost from said substrate. To provide wear resistance and long life-time of the protective and lubricating layer, this layer comprises a microporous solid material having a pore structure which extends substantially over the whole thickness of the material and a hydrophobic lubricant carried by said solid material. An optical modulation method and apparatus uses superconductive oxide material for the optical modulation element. The photoconductive layer (3) has a triple-layer structure comprised of an upper layer (33) made of amorphous silicon containing germanium and carbon, a middle layer (32) made of amorphous silicon containing germanium, and a lower layer (31) made of amorphous silicon.
