A position sensor attachment band configured to secure a position sensor on an outer periphery of the cylinder tube includes a thin plate band, the thin plate band has one or more projections that project from the inner peripheral surface of the thin plate band which are disposed at least at the end positions among the end positions located in proximity to one end and the other end of the thin plate band in the length direction and the intermediate position, and the projections are disposed at positions completely within the width of the thin plate band and accordingly at positions completely away from the both side edges of the thin plate band on both sides in the width direction, and the projections are symmetrically arranged with respect to the center in the length direction of the thin plate band.

Position sensor attachment band

A sensor holding member holding a position sensor and an attachment member that attaches the sensor holding member to a cylinder tube are formed separately. The sensor holding member is placed with a sensor attachment groove oriented in the direction of the axis of the cylinder tube and in contact with the outer surface of the cylinder tube. The attachment member is placed so as to straddle the sensor holding member. By tightening an attachment screw and fixing the attachment member with an attachment band, the sensor holding member is pressed against and fixed to the outer surface of the cylinder tube by the attachment member. Loosening the attachment screw allows the sensor holding member to be displaced relative to the attachment member in the direction of the axis of the cylinder tube.

Position detecting device for fluid pressure cylinder

An elongated attachment hole is formed on a housing containing a magnetic sensor, a thin plate-like hole cover is placed on the housing to cover the elongated attachment hole, a single attachment bolt is disposed in such a manner as to go through the hole cover and the elongated attachment hole, and the attachment bolt is screwed in a screw hole of a cylinder body, thereby fixation of the housing on the cylinder body and fixation of the hole cover on the housing are performed at the same time by using the single attachment bolt.
