A shield conductor Wa comprises: a metallic pipe, a wireto be inserted into the pipe, and a groove-like fitting memberprovided in the pipeas extending along the direction of axis of the wire, and at the same time, attached tightly to the circumference of the wire. With the inner surface of the groove-like fitting memberin the pipeattached tightly to the circumference of the wire, the heat generated in the wireis transmitted directly to the pipe, and then released to the air from the circumference of the pipe. This improves radiation performance of the shield conductor Wa.

One aspect of the present invention can include a conductor to be installed on a vehicle for high current use including a stranded copper wire connected to an end portion of a single-core aluminum cable, an intermediary conductor made of copper is connected to the stranded copper wire, and an end face of a core of the single-core aluminum cable is cold welded connected to an end face of a welding shaft formed on the intermediary conductor having approximately a same diameter as the core of the single-core aluminum cable.

An improved shield connector and a method of making the same include an electric wire having a conductor with an insulation coating and a metallic pipe. The electric wire is positioned in the metallic pipe. A filler is located inside the pipe, between the electric wire and the pipe, and the filler has a heat conductivity higher than that of air.

A conductive path includes a terminal metal piece; and a bus bar overlapped with the terminal metal piece. The terminal piece and the bus bar are bonded while the terminal piece and the bus bar are deformed to form a recess portion on a surface where the terminal metal piece is overlapped with the bus bar by pressing the terminal metal piece and the bus bar with a die in a direction of intersecting with an overlapped face between the terminal metal piece and the bus bar.

Conductive path and connector

A connector structure includes a connector body having a hollow portion and an axis. The connector body includes a male terminal extending along the direction of the axis of the hollow portion. The connector body includes a sacrificial electrode mounted either on part of the connector body or on the male terminal. The tip of the sacrificial electrode extends outwardly farther than the male terminal tip along the axis. The connector structure includes a female terminal to be fitted along the axis. The female terminal includes a first sacrificial fold and a second sacrificial fold separated by an electrode path extending along the axis of the hollow portion, such that the sacrificial electrode is positioned between the first and second sacrificial folds before the female terminal has been fitted with the male terminal. With such a construction, the connector structure can be miniaturized and simplified, and durably protected from the damage caused by an electric arc discharge.

Connector structure

A vertical member having a sliding member and the like is installed on the upper face of a base member which covers a cutting blade in a condition in which the cutting blade can slide in a horizontal plane. An operational lever is provided to extend from the vertical member and a rotational member, having a fixed sandwiching member and a rotational sandwiching member, is installed on the vertical member perpendicular thereto and in a condition in which it can be freely rotated. The band part is fastened by rotating the rotational member in a condition in which the band part of a band is sandwiched by the fixed sandwiching member and the rotational sandwiching member, and the cutting blade is moved by downward movement of the sliding member to cut and remove the band part.

Band tightening and cutting device

A solar cell panel has a pair of superimposed plates, and one or more solar energy cells sandwiched between the plates. A connector for making electrical connection to an external connection member in use of the panel is mounted on the periphery of the superimposed plates. To achieve a compact and simple construction, one-piece strip metal electrical conductor members have first ends located between the superimposed plates and electrically connected to the solar energy cells and second ends which protrude from the periphery and are held in a housing of the connector. The second ends act as electrical terminals.

A C-shaped fixed core is provided at a power receiving portion, and a secondary coil is wound on a vertical portion of the fixed core. A moving core is vertically movable in sliding contact with distal end surfaces of horizontal portions of the fixed core. A primary coil, having an air core portion, is provided at a charging coupler. When the charging coupler is attached to the power receiving portion, the moving core is moved downward to extend through the air core portion of the primary coil, and opposite end portions of the moving core are contacted respectively with the horizontal portions of the fixed core. As a result, a magnetic circuit is formed between the primary and secondary coils. The charging coupler is lightweight since it does not have a core.

A connector for charging includes: a power supply connector element having a primary coil to be connected to a charging power source and a first core; and a vehicle connector element having a secondary coil to be connected to a battery mounted on a vehicle and a second core, the first and second cores constituting a magnetic circuit which passes through the primary and secondary coils, thereby allowing the battery to be charged by an electromotive power induced in the secondary coil, wherein a region occupied by one of the first and second cores is smaller than a region occupied by the other of the first and second cores.

Connector for charging

To securely lock connectors for charging, a charging connectors 1 is engaged with a vehicle-side connector 25, lock balls 9 are engaged with an engaging groove 28 and a locking member 10 is engaged with the lock balls 9. As a result, the connectors 1 and 25 are locked. Since the connectors 1 and 25 are locked by a ball lock mechanism taking advantage of the engagement of the lock balls 9, the connectors can be more securely locked even if the connectors and wires are heavy as compared to a prior art locking mechanism adopting an elastically deformable resin lance or engaging member and, therefore, a better reliability can be ensured.

Locking device for high-voltage cable connectors

A core assembly for coil units and a method for producing the same which can suppress a raise of temperature are provided. A secondary core (21) made of a ferrite includes a pair of core members (25, 25) which are symmetrical with respect to each other and are adapted to be coupled to each other. Each core member (25) is provided in its coupling surface (44) with a groove or apertune (43). When the core members (25, 25) are coupled to each other, the integrated grooves (43, 43) define a flow path (40) adapted to flow a cooling medium in the secondary core (21). Thus, it is possible to form a flow path in a core made of a sintered material which is too hard to be worked.

Core assembly for coil units and method for producing the same

An apparatus for winding and tightening a band clip (10) around a wiring harness (1) is provided with a base member (100) with a clip retaining means (120) for retaining a clip portion (2) of the band clip (10) in such a manner that a clipping direction (A) and a receiving direction (B) of a band receiving portion (3) extend substantially parallel to each other; a band tip deflecting member (200), movable with respect to the base member (100), for deflecting a band tip (6) of the band clip (10) around the wiring harness (1) towards and through the band receiving portion (3) by reducing the distance between the base member (100) and the band tip deflecting member (200); and a band tightening member (300), movable with respect to the base member (100), for gripping and pulling the band tip (6) having passed the band receiving portion (3) to tighten the band portion (4) by increasing the distance between the base member (100) and the band tightening member (300). This apparatus allows a high degree of automation, highly regular and uniform winding, and tightening of several band clips around a wiring harness and a high operability in connection with the production of wiring harnesses where a minimum working space is sometimes available for winding and tightening the band clips.
