An electric connection box includes a frame having a cylindrical outer wall, and a cover having a side wall fitted into one end in an axial direction of the outer wall. The outer wall has a plate-shaped protruded portion, and the protruded portion has a pair of side portions respectively placed at one end and the other end in a width direction. The side wall has a pair of edge portions and has a notch between the pair of edge portions. Each of the pair of edge portions has a first facing surface and a second facing surface. The first facing surface abuts on the pair of side portions in a thickness direction of the protruded portion, and the second facing surface faces the pair of side portions in the width direction and positions the cover with respect to the frame.

Electric connection box

A hole for inserting a binding band is arranged through a gutter shape electric wire passing guide. A widening width guide groove for guiding the binding band is arranged at an inner surface of the electric wire passing guide so as to expand its width gradually from the hole toward an opening end of one sidewall of the electric wire passing guide. In condition that a plurality of electric wires is inserted in the electric wire passing guide, a tip end of the binding band is inserted from the guide groove into the hole. One side surface of the guide groove is curved convexly toward the projecting top between the hole and the opening end. The one side surface of the guide groove is inclined toward the projecting top between a bottom surface of the guide groove and the inner surface of the electric wire passing guide.

An electrical wire jacketing configuration used in an electrical junction box herein has a body portion in which a recess is formed. The electrical wire jacketing configuration includes a gutter-shaped portion configured to pass an electrical wire therethrough, a slidable engaging portion formed in both end portions of the gutter-shaped portion in the across-the-width-direction, and is slidingly engabeable with a guide portion of the recess, and a projection extending from the gutter-shaped portion toward the recess so as to prevent possible erroneous or wrong attachment of the electrical wire jacketing configuration to the recess. The recess may have a secondary guide portion configured to proceed the projection into the recess such that the projection can engage with the recess. The electrical wire jacketing configuration to which the electrical wire is fixed slidably moves toward the recess in a longitudinal direction of the electrical wire, and thereby mates with the recess.

A tape winding structure at a wire guiding out portion includes: a gutter-shaped or inverted-gutter-shaped wire guiding wall; and a plate-shaped wire supporting wall opposed to an opening of the wire guiding wall in a wire radial direction, wherein a notch portion for exposing a wire is provided on an end of the wire guiding wall at the opening side, wherein the wire supporting wall is narrower than the wire guiding wall in the wire radial direction at the notch portion, wherein the notch portion is positioned at a corner in a crossing direction between the wire supporting wall and the wire guiding wall, and wherein when a plurality of wires are wound together with the wire guiding wall and the wire supporting wall by a tape, the wire exposed at the notch portion is adhered at a sloped portion of the wound tape.

Tape winding structure at wire guiding out portion

A wire guiding out portion structure for winding a tape includes: a gutter-shaped or inverted-gutter-shaped wire guiding wall; and a plate-shaped wire supporting wall opposed to the wire guiding wall. At least two ribs for preventing a tape from slipping arranged parallel to each other in a wire guiding out direction are provided on at least one of the wire guiding wall and the wire supporting wall. A leading rib of the wire guiding wall or the wire supporting wall is projected longer in a wire radial direction than a second rib of the wire guiding wall or the wire supporting wall. At least two ribs arranged parallel to each other in a wire guiding out direction are provided on the wire guiding wall and the wire supporting wall. The ribs of the wire guiding wall are projected in the same height in the wire radial direction.

Electric junction box

An object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof box capable of improving waterproof performance, and workability and space-saving. Waterproof box

The electric wire fixture device is provided with a bottom wall on which the electric wire is placed, and a side wall upstanding from the bottom wall. The side wall is provided with an aperture passed through by a fixing member for fixing the electric wire. The fixing member fixes the electric wire so that the fixing member passes through the aperture after being wound around the electric wire and that the electric wire is then brought close to the side wall. The side wall is provided with a pair of ribs projecting toward the electric wire from the side wall. The pair of the ribs is disposed spaced along a longitudinal direction of the electric wire, and the pair of ribs is disposed to position the aperture therebetween.

The present invention provides a waterproof box which can improve water performance and work efficiency, and can reduce space. A wire-guiding portion includes a rib protruding from an outer surface of the wire-guiding portion for tape slippage prevention. At least a rear end face of the rib defines a sloping surface intersecting at an acute angle with the outer surface at the edge of the electrical wire guiding portion. The wire-guiding portion may be provided obliquely downward with respect to a vertical wall of the electrical junction box body.

Wire-guiding portion with structure for prevention of displacement of tape

There is provided a junction box unit that comprises a body to which a power integration unit is attached and a connector cover that positions a connector of a wiring harness with respect to the body. The connector cover comprises a holding portion holding the connector, a mounting portion attached to the body, and a main body to be accommodated therein. The mounting portion comprises an engagement projection and an engagement arm. The engagement projection protrudes from one end of the main body for locking engagement with a locking portion of the junction box body. The engagement arm includes an arm main body having one end continuing to an outer surface of the other end of the main body and a free end. A protrusion is provided at the central portion of the arm main body for locking engagement with the locking portion. When the protrusion is in locking engagement with the locking portion, the other end of the arm main body is positioned more outwardly of the body than the locking portion.

Connector cover and junction box unit provided with the same

The present invention is to provide an electric junction box having an enhanced watertight performance by easily winding a fixing member from a guide portion to a plurality of electric wires. The electric junction box includes a box main body and a tubular guide portion projecting from the box main body and guiding the electric wires to an outside of the box main body. A fixing member is continuously wound from the guide portion to the electric wires after the electric wires are passed through the inside of the guide portion. The guide portion includes a rib projected outward from the guide portion for preventing displacement of the fixing member. The rib is separated from the end portion of the guide portion away from the box main body.

The present invention provides a waterproof box which has small size, high workability in its assembling, and high waterproof character. The waterproof box includes a body including a peripheral body wall which has an annular convex rim defining an opening, and a first fulcrum portion which is provided on the peripheral body wall; and a cover covering the opening and including a peripheral cover wall which has an annular chase defined by a inner wall and an outer wall and engaged with the annular convex rim, and a second fulcrum portion which is provided on the peripheral cover wall and engaged with the first fulcrum portion so that the cover rotates about the fulcrum portions. A height of a first edge of the inner wall corresponding to the second fulcrum portion is lower than that of a second edge of the inner wall adjacent to the first edge.

The electric junction box includes a box body, cassette block, relay, terminal fitting and rib. The box body includes a mounting hole. A groove is formed hollow from a surface of the cassette block. The relay is mounted on the surface of the cassette block. The terminal fitting is received in the cassette block. The rib extends from one inner wall surface to an opposite inner wall surface of the mounting hole. The cassette block is received in the mounting hole of the box body. The rib enters into the groove.

A method of correcting the alignment of a line of terminals using a jig that has a pair of openable and closeable sticks by opening the pair of sticks and inserting the terminals between the sticks. Closing of the sticks can be to a nipping direction for correcting the alignment. The alignment method is usable for inserting terminals into a mating unit.
