A push-button-operated flush type handle assembly is provided. The assembly enables a person trapped in a cabinet to unlock and open a cabinet door from inside even when push button 16 is locked from outside. In the assembly: handle 4 is pivoted to housing 2 of casing 1 and swingably urged by spring 20 in its projecting direction; projection 7 for rotatably driving lock plate 6 is formed in the handle; latch 29 is mounted in guide hole 3 of the casing and slidably urged by spring 22 toward pivot 5; locking projection 12 engaged with and disengaged from receiver projection 11 of the handle is formed in the latch; oblique cam surface 19 is formed in the latch which has operating projection 14 in its rear surface; escape hole 15 of bottom wall of the casing permits the projection 14 to pass therethrough; and, oblique cam surface 18 is formed in the push button or in push-button guide 17 fitted to the push button.

Push button-operated flush type handle assembly

A door handle device and latch mechanism including a device body installed on a door panel. The device body is provided with a handle grip connected thereto by a first pivot pin and has an actuating lever connected to the device body through the first pivot pin, which is mounted unitarily with the handle grip through a second pivot pin. A reset lever is pivotally secured to the handle grip through the second pivot pin acting on the handle grip. A retractable latch mounted in the device body has a lock lever connected thereto by a third pivot pin to check the rearward slide of the latch by engagement with a receiving portion in a bottom plate of the handle device. A reset spring in the handle grip holds the reset lever and a rotatable lock cam in engagement, and also holds the reset leer and the lock lever in engagement. A leaf spring retained in the device body bottom plate releases engagement of the lock lever and bottom plate receiving portion. A lock mounted on the handle grip has a cam lock in engagement with the reset lever secured to a rotor, so that when the rotor is turned the reset lever as depressed by the lock cam turns to release the restraint on the lock lever. The lock lever urged upwardly by the leaf spring turns to release its engagement with the receiving portion of the bottom plate, and permits the latch to be retracted.

Door handle latch and lock mechanism

A handle device for a door which is formed of an assembly installed in a door panel and has a handle grip connected thereto by a pivot pin. A latch is retractably mounted to the assembly and interlocked with the handle grip. A lock is disposed within the assembly and is provided with a cam secured to a rotor of the lock which checks the receding slide of the latch. The lock cam is formed in the shape of a disc and is closely fitted in a circular recess of the assembly.

Self-closing door hinge

A handle device for a door which is formed of an assembly installed in a door panel and has a handle grip connected thereto by a pivot pin. A latch is retractably mounted to the assembly and is interlocked with the handle grip. An actuating lever is pushed by the handle grip to move the latch. A reset lever drives the actuating lever when pushed by a push rod extending inside the door. A lock mounted on the assembly has a cam secured to a rotor, serves to release the engagement between a lock plate which is secured to the assembly and adapted to check the slide of the latch, and the latch. When the push rod turns the reset lever, engagement between the lock plate and the latch is released and the latch slides and is retracted by turning the actuating lever.

Handle device for doors

A door handle unit which comprises a unit body secured to a door, a lever type handle pivoted to the body by means of a main shaft mounted between upper and lower side walls of the body, a latch case fitted into the body from its rear side, a latch housed in the latch case so as to protrude and retreat from a left side wall of the body, a spring for urging the latch to slide leftward, a strike shaft mounted between the upper and lower side walls of the body, and two hook portions formed to project from the front portions of the latch case and opened rightward, in which those two right and left hook portions are engaged with the main shaft and the strike shaft respectively, and an actuating projection formed at the left end portion of the handle is brought into pressure-contact with the left side face of a receiving portion formed at the right end of the latch, thereby to urge the latch case to move rightward with respect to the body by virtue of the spring. This door handle unit can be simply and efficiently assembled just by fitting operations without a need of tightening screws.

Door handle unit

A door handle unit in which a movable handle is linearly slidably fitted in a case secured to a door, a latch coming into engagement with and disengagement from a keeper secured to a fixed frame member is pivoted to the case, engagement of the keeper and the latch is held by means of a spring for urging the latch to be rotated, an actuating link coupled to an inner end portion of the movable handle is engaged with the latch, and the latch is disengaged from the keeper along with a linear pulling movement of the movable handle. Since the movable handle is operated in a linear sliding manner, there do not occur troubles of breakage or distortion in the handle unit.
