The present application: receives positioning data from each of a plurality of positioning terminals that have received positioning signals transmitted from a plurality of satellites; uses the received positioning data to detect, for each satellite, the difference between the positioning signal reception quality at a first positioning terminal and the positioning signal reception quality at at least one second positioning terminal; and uses the difference for each satellite to determine a satellite to be used for positioning computation for the first positioning terminal.

A positioning system includes a receiver that receives a positioning signal from a positioning satellite and generates carrier phase information, a base station that receives the carrier phase information from the receiver, and a communication terminal that performs wireless communication with the base station. The base station transmits information including the carrier phase information and the position information of the receiver as a carrier positioning signal to the communication terminal and the communication terminal performs carrier positioning using the carrier positioning signal transmitted by the base station. Here, the base station encrypts the position information of the receiver, in the carrier positioning signal to be transmitted.

The present disclosure is effective in easily estimating an integer value bias at a high speed. A plurality of calculation processing items are performed in parallel with different time points as start time points. Thus, even in a case where a situation in which the time required for the calculation of a fix solution differs depending on time point at which time point the calculation processing starts, there is a possibility that one of a plurality of calculation processing items can calculate the fix solution at an earlier time than in a case where single calculation processing performs the calculation. Therefore, it is possible to easily estimate the integer value bias at the high speed.

Positions holding different bit values between a first code word, which is obtained by coding an information bit sequence based on a coding method utilizing quasi-cyclic codes, and a second code word, which has the close Hamming distance from the first code word and satisfies a parity check of the coding method, are identified. Thereafter, a code word is generated by inserting bit values known to the transmitter and receiver into the identified positions of the information bit sequence and coding the information bit sequence. Upon reception of a signal based on the generated code word, the receiver judges whether known bit values held by corresponding positions in a code word obtained by decoding the received signal are the same as preset bit values. If the judgment result is negative, the code word based on the received signal is judges as erroneous even when it satisfies the parity check.

A grouping table storage section stores a grouping table in which Ack return order positions indicating priority orders of the reception terminals which each return an Ack, and addresses of the reception terminals are set. An Ack return order position notification frame creation section notifies each reception terminal of a corresponding Ack return order position based on the grouping table. An Ack return permission information determination section refers to the grouping table, determines the number of reception terminal that are to be permitted to return an Ack, and creates Ack return permission information in which information about the reception terminals that are to be permitted to return an Ack is set, based on the determined number of reception terminals. A multicast creation section creates a multicast containing the Ack return permission information and transmission data.
