A thermosensitive recording material including, on a support having a type D durometer hardness of 40 or more as defined in accordance with ISO 7619:2004, and sequentially from the support side, an undercoating layer having a dynamic microhardness at 25&#xb0; C. of 5.0 mN or less; and a thermosensitive color-forming layer containing an electron-donating dye precursor and an electron-accepting compound for thermal color-formation of the electron-donating dye precursor.

Thermosensitive recording material

The invention provides a heat sensitive recording material comprising heat sensitive recording layer provided on a support and having a hollow particle and a heat sensitive coloring component.

Heat sensitive recording material

The present invention provides a recording material comprising a substrate, a heat-sensitive layer formed on the substrate by a coating liquid containing (1) microcapsules containing a colorless or light-colored electron-donative dye precursor and (2) a dispersion of solids comprising color developers, and a protective layer formed on the heat-sensitive layer, wherein the dispersion of solids comprising color developers is a dispersion prepared by co-dispersing at least three color developers including at least one solid color developer, preferably a water-soluble color developer, in the form of solid particles and at least one amorphous color developer together with a water-soluble polymer, and wherein the solid particles of the color developers contained in the dispersion have particle diameters in the range of from 0.3 to 0.5 .mu.m and the haze of the heat-sensitive recording material is 55% or less.

Heat-sensitive recording material

A pressure-sensitive microcapsule sheet comprising a support having thereon a pressure-sensitive layer comprising microcapsules and a binder comprising a copolymer latex composed of at least two monomers selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic conjugated diolefin monomer, an aromatic vinyl monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated acid amide monomer. The sheet is free from color stain and fog during printing.

Pressure-sensitive microcapsule sheet

A pressure-sensitive recording sheet which forms a colored image by the reaction of an electron donating color former with an electron accepting developer, comprising a support having provided thereon a micro-encapsulated electron donating color former and an electron accepting developer is disclosed, wherein one or more layers containing the microencapsulated electron donating color former contains at least one pigment having a pH of 8.5 or more.

Pressure sensitive recording sheet

A photographic silver halide light-sensitive material is disclosed comprising a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the support, wherein the emulsion layer or another hydrophilic organic colloid layer contains a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent the same or different groups and are each hydrogen, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can be linked together to form an N-containing heterocyclic ring, provided that R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are not both hydrogens; R.sub.f is a fluorine-containing group; one of X and Y is a hydrogen atom and another is a --SO.sub.3 M group wherein M is a cation. A method for high speed coating a photographic emulsion or another hydrophilic organic colloid composition is also disclosed wherein the improvement comprises a compound represented by formula (I) to the emulsion or the composition.

Photographic silver halide materials containing a high speed coating aid

The antistatic property of a silver halide photographic material is effectively improved by incorporating a fluorine-containing water-soluble polymer having a styrene monomer containing a fluorine-containing group as the polymerization unit in at least one of the photographic layers of the photographic material. The incorporation of the polymer does not reduce the adhesion resistance or film strength of the photographic material. The photographic material can also maintain the improved antistatic property for a long period of time.

Silver halide photographic materials

The antistatic property of a silver halide photographic material is effectively improved by incorporating a fluorine-containing water-insoluble polymer having a styrene monomer containing a fluorine-containing group as the polymerization unit in at least one of the photographic layers of the photographic material. The incorporation of the polymer does not reduce the adhesion resistance or film strength of the photographic material. The photographic material can also maintain the improved antistatic property for a long period of time.
