An image forming apparatus is provided with: an image forming unit having a photosensitive member, a charger, and a developer carrier, the image forming unit being configured to transfer the developer image to a recording sheet to form an image on the recording sheet; a motor configured to drive the photosensitive member and the developer carrier; a controller configured to control the motor and the charger, and a re-conveyance mechanism configured to reverse the recording sheet discharged from the image forming unit and to convey the recording sheet back towards the image forming unit. The controller is configured to turn off the charger after the motor is turned off, during a time period after the recording sheet is discharged from the image forming unit until the recording sheet is re-conveyed to the image forming unit by the re-conveyance mechanism.

Image forming apparatus with re-conveyance mechanism

A vehicle seat includes: a seat frame; a seat cover provided with a rupture portion; an airbag disposed in the seat; a pair of webbings provided so as to surround the airbag on a back surface side of the seat cover, one end sides of the webbings being mounted to the rupture portion; and a mounting section mounting the other end sides of the webbings to the seat frame. In a vehicle collision, the airbag is protruded out of the seat by rupturing and opening the rupture portion. The mounting section is provided at a place where a body of the seat frame is disposed. When the airbag is uninflated, the mounting section holds the other ends of the webbings apart from the body of the seat frame, and an inhibition portion in the mounting section inhibits contact between an edge-shaped portion formed in the body and the webbings.

A reference value of an electric current flowing through each charging member is determined and recorded in a memory unit at a predetermined time by a reference value recording unit. A voltage application unit is caused to start applying a voltage to the charging members upon startup of an image forming apparatus, and a measurement value of an electric current flowing through each charging member is determined by a measurement unit. A charging member of which the measurement value is such that an absolute value of a difference between the reference value and the measurement value is not smaller than a predetermined value is marked by a determination unit. If there is at least one marked charging member and at least one not-marked charging member, a notification produced by a messaging unit is given through a notification unit.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes: a first photosensitive member; a second photosensitive member; a third photosensitive member; a first scorotron-type charger that is configured to charge the first photosensitive member; a second scorotron-type charger that is configured to charge the second photosensitive member; a third scorotron-type charger that is configured to charge the third photosensitive member; a first voltage applying circuit, which is connected to the first scorotron-type charger, and which is configured to apply a voltage to the first scorotron-type charger; and a second voltage applying circuit, which is commonly connected to the second scorotron-type charger and the third scorotron-type charger, and which is configured to apply a voltage to the second scorotron-type charger and the third scorotron-type charger.

A charger is opposed to a charging subject member and charges the charging subject member by generating corona discharge. The charger includes: a discharge electrode; and a pair of facing electrodes that are disposed to face with each other being the discharge electrode interposed therebetween and arranged to be distant from the discharge electrode, wherein the facing electrodes are arranged that an interval between the facing electrodes gradually decreases towards the charging subject member.
