Provided are a seal structure in which sealing performance is ensured over a long period of time even when it is used for low-temperature fluids, a sealing method, and a coupling including the seal structure. The seal structure includes an annular gasket interposed between a first member and a second member. The first member is provided on its surface facing the gasket with: a first surface located on the inner diameter side; a first annular protrusion located on the outer diameter side of the first surface; a second surface located on the outer diameter side of the first protrusion; a second annular protrusion located on the outer diameter side of the second surface and having a greater protruding amount with respect to the second surface than that of the first protrusion; and a third surface located on the outer diameter side of the second protrusion.

Safety valve

A ball valve which can suppress the increasing of processing labor time and reliably prevent simultaneous rotation of a ball seat and a ball when the ball is rotated by handle manipulation is provided. The valve bodyis formed of a hard material such as stainless steel, the ball seat is formed of a relatively soft material such as a fluorine resin, and a protrusionis formed on a ball seat support surfaceof the valve bodymade of a hard material so as to bite into the ball seat

Ball valve

A safety valve coupled to a container to release liquid within the container. The container defines an opening surrounded by a container surface. The safety valve includes a housing defining an interior containing a fusible member for actuating a plug between a closed position and an open position to release the liquid upon melting the fusible member. A main body has a first end for coupling to the housing and a second end for coupling to the opening of the container. The main body second end includes a main body surface defining axial bores for receiving screws to fix the main body to the housing. Upon coupling the safety valve to the container, a small gap is formed between the container surface and the main body surface to limit loosening of the screws.

A safety valve device has a safety valve body and is configured to open at a temperature of or over a preset reference temperature. The safety valve device also includes a gas flow path arranged to make a flow of hydrogen flowing out of a hydrogen tank via the safety valve body in a valve open position, and a discharge pipe configured to have a hydrogen discharge opening and arranged to discharge the hydrogen flowing through the gas flow path to the outside. The hydrogen discharge opening of the discharge pipe is formed to discharge the hydrogen in an oblique direction relative to a direction of an axial center of the gas flow path. The discharge pipe also has a groove formed to apply an input rotational force to the discharge pipe and thereby rotate the discharge pipe around the axial center of the gas flow path.

Safety valve device, valve apparatus, high-pressure gas tank, and vehicle

A safety valve comprises a main body, fixed body, meltable body, movable body, biasing member, movable plug and plug holding means. The fixed body has a small passageway communicating with the interior of a container, and an upper large passageway. The movable plug has a small portion fitting in the upper end of the small passageway of the fixed body, an intermediate portion providing a clearance therearound inside a lower end portion of the large passageway of the fixed body, and a large portion slidably fitting in an intermediate portion of the large passageway of the fixed body. The large rod portion of the movable plug has a passage extending from its upper end to its lower end, and the intermediate portion of the plug is provided with communication passageways having openings in its peripheral surface and communicating with the lower end of the passage.

An actuator comprises a valve case opened upward, a gas-driven actuator having a fixed portion provided on the valve case and fixed thereto and an operating portion movable upward and downward by a drive gas when the gas flows in or out, a valve stem extending upward from inside the valve case to above the case and having its upper end fixed to the operating portion of the actuator, and a valve element provided on the lower end of the valve stem. A valve case fluid seal bellows and an actuator gas seal bellows are connected between the valve stem and the actuator fixed portion and between the actuator fixed portion and operating portion, respectively. A vacuum is contained in a closed space formed by the valve stem, fluid seal bellows, actuator fixed portion, gas seal bellows and actuator operating portion. The variations in the internal pressure of the closed space due to variations in the ambient temperature are much smaller than the pressure of the drive gas, so that the flow rate of fluid remains unchanged by the variations in the ambient temperature.

Controller

A control valve comprises a valve body having a fluid channel and a valve seat; a valve operating part; a valve stem supporting member having its upper end fixed to the valve operating part and its lower end fixed to the valve body; a valve stem penetrating the valve stem supporting member and having its upper end part connected to the valve operating part and its lower end part entering the valve body, the valve stem being movable upward or downward by the valve operating part; and a valve element attached to the lower end of the valve stem. The valve element is moved upward or downward by moving the valve stem upward or downward, the valve element being brought into contact with and seated in the valve seat to close a fluid channel as it is moved downward, the valve element being detached from the valve seat to open the fluid channel as it is moved upward. The valve stem supporting member has an upper tubular body and a lower tubular body, the upper tubular body having its upper end fixed to the valve operating part and its lower end detached from the valve body, the lower tubular body having its lower end fixed to the valve body and its upper end detached from the valve operating part, the two tubular bodies being spaced apart each other, the lower end part of the upper tubular body and the upper end part of the lower tubular body being connected by a connecting member.
