A power circuit is provided so that a charge can be normally driven even during replacement of a first battery. This power circuit comprises: first and second batteries for driving a charge; a first battery voltage detection means; a first switch for controlling a second battery power supply path based on an output of the voltage detection means; an overcharge prevention means for preventing an overcharge for the secondary battery caused by the first battery; and a switch controlled by an output of the overcharge prevention means.

The present invention relates to a moving picture searching apparatus, where moving picture information recorded can be searched easily when desired moving picture information is picked out. Of single or plural moving picture(s) S,recorded in predetermined recording medium, moving picture information which meets the condition designated by a user and obtained based on output S,of input means,are searched based on respective index information which has been recorded in the recording medium,with respective corresponding moving picture information. On the other hand, after this, when it is confirmed on the basis of the output S,of the input means that the user designated first operation mode, respective moving picture information S,picked out by the search are sequentially reproduced at a predetermined timing and displayed on display means,. Therefore, the user can look and confirm the contents of respective moving picture signals S,which have the condition designated by the user as an index information, without complicated operation.

An image display device has a control electrode which comprises an X-Y grid assembly composed of planar two-layer conductive grids which define electron passage holes at junctions thereof. The control electrode have capacitive bodies disposed at the junctions for storing a control voltage to control electrons emitted from a planar cathode and having passed through the electron passage holes. A high-voltage electrode applies a high voltage to a planar light emitting layer to attract the electrons that have passed through the electron passage holes and have been controlled by the control voltage, to the planar light emitting layer for emitting light in response to bombardment of the electrons thereon. The electrons are supplied at all times by the control electrode for continuous emission of light from the planar light emitting layer. Since the cathode and the electrodes are of a planar structure, the image display device is lightweight and of a low profile.

Parallel rays of light emitted from a light source are reflected at an angle of approximately 90.degree. by a first reflecting mirror toward a liquid crystal panel. The light reflected from the first reflecting mirror is applied to the pixels of the liquid crystal panel through a light guide lens. An image formed on the liquid crystal panel is projected on a second reflecting mirror through an auxiliary projection lens. The second reflecting mirror has a concave surface formed on the lower end portion thereof such that the concave surface gradually changes into a flat surface toward the upper end thereof. Thus, the second reflecting mirror reflects the image projected by the auxiliary projection lens such that the lower end portion of the image is reduced in size by the concave surface of the mirror. When the reflected image is projected through a projection lens on a screen inclined with respect to the optical axis of the projection lens, it is displayed as a normal image with the trapezoidal distortion effectively corrected.

This invention relates to a data transmission system in which information data is shuffled and the data service is received by those who paid the charges. According to this data transmission system, a service data and a key code transmitted from a data base station are received by a decoder provided at the side of a subscriber, in which only when these data are decoded and the key code transmitted coincides with a key code at the receiving side, a particular data service transmitted from the data base station can be received by the subscriber. In the data transmission system of the invention, a control data portion transmitted is shuffled by changing a shuffling pattern by a synchronizing code inserted as part of the control data portion and by arranging the code length of the control data portion to be variable so that the content of data can not be decoded easily.
