On knowledge information processing and especially in a plan making system such as a system for generating schedule diagrams of trains and personnel, it becomes necessary to make or modify a plan by using a plurality of work stations when the plan becomes large-sized. At this time, the work stations are provided with equal plan making function. Thus, the work stations can divide planning responsibilities. Further, work stations are provided with priorities. Thus, management of competition among a plurality of work stations is facilitated and overhead caused by communication among a plurality of devices is reduced.

Cooperation scheme for plural work stations

A retrieving key representing position information is used to retrieve image information containing the retrieving key information at a high speed and high precision. First a retrieving key is inputted to display retrieval information. The retrieving key is used to retrieve an image having a large size relative to a geometric distortion error, and the longitude/latitude conversion coefficients of the retrieved image are corrected. By using the corrected longitude/latitude conversion coefficients, an image having a small size relative to the geometric distortion error is retrieved, and the retrieved image is subject to distortion correction and image magnification.

A problem solving system including apparatus for representing a relationship between a goal including subgoals and its lower level subgoals and for achieving the goal as a strategy of a first kind. A computer in a securities dealing decision support system is connected via a communication line to a dealer/trader terminal device and customer terminal device. A voice communication line is connected between the dealer/trader terminal device and customer terminal device. The information generated at the computer is outputted to both the terminal devices at the same time. The customer can decide the securities dealing by using the voice communication line while looking at the same information as that for the dealer/trader.

Inference method and system

A real time status monitoring method for inputting randomly varying data relating to a plurality of objects, processing a plurality of functions having some of the data as variables and monitoring an overall status including the objects on a real time basis, and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. A table indicating the presence or absence of data change in the objects and the presence or absence of variables related to the data change in the funtions is prepared. In processing the functions, the table is referenced and only those functions which include the variables related to the data change are processed.

An information service system which supplies a predetermined information to a participant to an object system in accordance with predetermined control rules.
