An electrical heater and a method of heating a catalyst. The heater includes a honeycomb body that includes a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure includes a central axis extending longitudinally and a plurality of interconnected walls. The interconnected walls include a plurality of radial walls extending along a radius of the honeycomb body between the central axis and an outermost periphery of the honeycomb body and a plurality of angular walls arranged concentrically with respect to the central axis and spanning between the radial walls. The honeycomb structure includes a plurality of cells defined by the interconnected walls. The heater comprises a first electrode disposed at the central axis and a second electrode disposed radially outwardly of the central axis and in electrical communication with the first electrode via one or more of the intersecting walls that are located between the first electrode and second electrode.

Outlet-coated ceramic honeycomb bodies and methods of manufacturing same

A compound honeycomb body comprising a first honeycomb section having a volume Vand a second honeycomb section fluidly connected to the first honeycomb having a volume Vis provided. In one aspect, a rotor blade assembly for a wind turbine may generally include a rotor blade extending lengthwise between a root and a tip. The rotor blade may include a pressure side and a suction side extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge. Additionally, the rotor blade assembly may include a chord extender having an attachment portion coupled to at least of the pressure side or the suction side and an extension portion extending outwardly from the attachment portion beyond the trailing edge. The extension portion may extend chordwise between a first end disposed adjacent to the trailing edge and a second end disposed opposite the first end. The extension portion may include a surface defined between the first and second ends. The extension portion may further include at least one stiffening rib projecting outwardly from the surface.
