The present invention provides a snorkel having smaller respiratory dead space or volume. The snorkel includes a mouthpiece and a tube with an inhalation lumen and an exhalation lumen. A distal one-way inhalation valve is placed inside the inhalation lumen; and a distal one-way exhalation valve is placed inside the exhalation lumen. The invention also provides a method for reducing the volume of a respiratory dead space in a snorkel.

The present invention provides a building piece comprising a first wing, a second wing, and a flexible belt connecting said two wings. The first wing has a first front side and a first back side, and the second wing has a second front side and a second back side. At least two of the four sides each comprise a topographical profile or a landscape. In the present invention, the term 'landscape' can be used interchangeably with the term 'topographical profile'. The landscape on any one of the at least two sides can be reversibly interlocked, or is reversibly interlockable, to another one of the at least two sides.

The present invention provides a building piece toy including a first container comprising a first cavity with a first opening, a second container comprising a second cavity with a second opening, and a flexible belt connecting said two containers. The container is tapered monotonously in all dimensions from the opening to the rest of the container's body. Many of the building pieces are interlockable to each other, so a player can create toys with a shape of human, animal, or plant such as lobster, butterfly, peacock and chicken.

A modifiable boomerang comprises of a pair of wing blades which have a curved top surface and a flat bottom surface. The wings are connected together by a pivot bolt to form a boomerang whose angle can be adjusted to change the aerodynamics of the flying boomerang. A thrower can change the angle of a boomerang to change its flying pattern.

A rotatable toilet tank lever equipped with a stopper has a controller to limit its upward movement. When engaged, the upward movement of the controller is stopped by an adjustment stick hitting the cover of toilet water tank. Therefore, the upward movement of the flapper inside the toilet tank is also limited and the amount of water, about half a gallon, draining into the toilet suffices to flush liquid human waste. When the intervention of the controller is eliminated by turning the handle of the rotatable toilet tank lever with controller clockwise 90 degrees to 180 degrees then the flapper can be lifted all the way up to float in the toilet water tank to allow the whole tank of water, about two gallons, to drain into the toilet bowl to flush solid human waste.

A convertible bicycle has separable front and rear wheel units. The convertible bicycle can operate in individual or in tandem mode as a tricycle unit. The rear wheel unit has a vertical interlocking gear which can interface with a frontal interlocking gear of the frontal wheel unit. The front wheel unit of an auxiliary bicycle can be detached and the remaining rear wheel unit attached to the rear wheel unit of another bicycle in order to form a tandem tricycle.

The present invention provides exercise apparatus comprising a first handle, an elongated connector, an extension director, a second handle, a rod, and an elongated elastic member having a first end and a second end. The extension director is configured to direct the first end of the elongated elastic member to move to a first direction when the elastic member is stretched by pushing the first handle and the second handle closer to each other, and to a second direction when the elastic member is stretched by pulling the first handle and the second handle away from each other.

When two conventional safety razor double-edged blades are superposed on top of each other, there is no space in between them to pass the shaving residues. The presently invented safety razor double-edged blade is equipped with several spaced protuberances on its surface. When two of these present invented blades are overlapped, there is a space between them to pass the shaving residues to be rinsed away by running water. Therefore two, three or more of them can be superposed on a single razor blade holder to allow the user to experience all the benefits of a multi-blade razor cartridge in a safety razor blade system.

A highlight ink marker comprises an inner ink tube, an outer support tube, an automatic magnetic closure apparatus, a washer, a dumbbell-shaped spring coil and an olive-shaped spring ring. The automatic magnetic closure apparatus comprises of a magnet having a central canal to allow the passage of the small ink wick tube of the inner ink tube and a nonmetal block having a bottom hole and a concave hollow to contain a metal ball. The olive-shaped spring ring is installed in two slots of the top outer tube of the outer support tube to catch the top step of the inner ink tube to keep the marker open. The dumbbell-shaped spring coil surrounds the small ink wick tube and is placed in between the washer and the bottom step of the inner ink tube to push the inner ink tube outward.
