A dual-slot memory card adapter includes a base, a space in the base, a partitioning member integrated with the adapter or separately and laterally disposed in the space to divide the space into upper and lower slot areas, one corresponding attachment each provided on both sides of the base, a card allotment mechanism pivoted to the attachments and operating between two ports of both slots, and a lid automatically closing up one port to a slot when a memory card is inserted into another slot to prevent insertion and judgment by mistake.

Dual-slot memory card adapter

A dual card type connector includes an insulating body having a first surface on a side thereof. First pins are mounted to the first surface. The insulating body further includes a second surface on the side thereof. Second pins are mounted to the second surface. A cover is mounted to the insulating body. The cover and the first surface of the insulating body together define a first insertion space for releasable engagement with a first electronic card. The cover and the second surface of the insulating body together define a second insertion space for releasable engagement with a second electronic card having a size different from that of the first electronic card. Thus, the dual card type connector can be used with a long, wide card or a short, narrow card without increasing the size of the connector.

An electrical connector includes a dielectric connector housing confining a card receiving groove and having a front open side. The card receiving space is configured with first to fifth card receiving spaces, each of which is adapted to receive a corresponding one of first to fifth electronic cards, which have different specifications, therein. Conductive terminals are mounted on the connector housing, extend into the card receiving groove, and contact electrically conductive contacts on one of the first to fifth electronic cards when the latter is inserted into the corresponding one of the first to fifth card receiving spaces through the front open side of the connector housing.

An electrical connector includes first conductive terminals disposed on a bottom wall of a dielectric housing, each of which has a first contacting end portion opposite to a first coupling end portion that extends outwardly of one of a front open side and a rear side of the housing and projecting into a first card receiving space confined by the bottom wall, a partition wall and lower wall portions of opposite lateral walls of the housing, and second conductive terminals disposed on the partition wall, each of which has a second contacting end portion opposite to a second coupling end portion that extends outwardly of the rear side of the housing and projecting into a second card receiving space confined by the partition wall, upper wall portions of the lateral walls, and a cover plate mounted on the lateral walls and disposed above the partition wall.
