A lutetium-based phosphor having the chemical formula: xLuAlO.yGdAlO:CePrEuTb, and being capable of radiating reddish orange-red spectrum when activated by a shortwave light emitted by an InGaN light-emitting diode. The invention also discloses a warm white LED using the lutetium-based phosphor that produces orange-red light having the peak wavelength &#x3bb;&#x3e;560 nm, half width&#x3e;125 nm and color rendering index Ra&#x2267;75 when activated by the LED radiation &#x3bb;=420&#x2dc;500 nm.

An elaborately designed miniature air compressor is composed of a motor unit, a compression unit, and an air collection unit. Several bladders installed in the compression unit are sequentially actuated by a compression vane with a thrust and pulling force imparted from priston like motion caused by revolution of an eccentrically installed follower rod such that air is continuously supplied to the air collection unit and ejected out of an air output port uniformly, stably, and adequately. Besides, all component units of the miniature air pump are combined together by two shackles in stead of using latch pins.

Miniature air pump

A miniature diaphragm pump includes a motor unit, a compression portion, and an air collection portion. The output air is injected into the inner space of the pump through the air inlet formed at the motor unit, and the air exits from the pump through an air output port provided at the air collecting portion. A pair of air bags are provided at the compression portion which are compressed by the ends of a cross-bar in alternating fashion and a system of check valves is arranged in such a manner that to prohibit a back flow of air. A follower rod extending from the cross bar is inserted into an eccentric hole formed on a rotation member in the motor unit to make eccentric circular motion when the motor rotates in order to compress one of the air bags at a time in order to send air to the air output port of the air collection portion of the pump.
