The present disclosure relates to a battery module and a battery pack including the same, and more particularly, to a battery module and a battery pack having the same, the battery module being formed in a heat transfer structure so that the temperatures of a plurality of battery cells are efficiently adjusted, and formed such that a heat transfer member is formed to have through holes so that the stability of the battery cells increases.

A heat-radiating structure of a cylindrical battery cell includes a first plate configured to contact an upper partial area of a battery cell and to which a current of the battery cell is discharged, the first plate having an area not contacting the battery cell, a second plate disposed between the first plate and the battery cell, the second plate not contacting the battery cell, and a heat transfer part disposed between the second plate and the battery cell and configured to transfer heat generated in the battery cell to the second plate while contacting the battery cell is provided. The second plate contacts the area of the first plate not contacting the battery cell and a portion of the current discharged from the battery cell to the first plate is discharged from the second plate. A heat-radiating system of a cylindrical battery is also provided.

The present disclosure provides a battery pack including a plurality of cylindrical battery cells forming a clamping part by coupling a cap assembly on one opened surface of a cylindrical can and forming a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal on a top surface of the clamping part and a top end central portion of the cap assembly, respectively, and a first electrode terminal connecting plate simultaneously coupled to upper end surfaces of the clamping parts of the battery cells in a state in which cylindrical battery cells are laterally arranged so that the cap assemblies of the cylindrical battery cells head in the same direction. The first electrode terminal connecting plate includes a welding plate having a relatively thin thickness to be welded on the upper end surface of the clamping part of the cap assembly, and a conductive plate coupled to a top surface of the welding plate, which is opposite to the cap assembly, and having a relatively thick thickness in comparison with that of the welding plate for smooth current flow between first electrode terminals of the upper end surface of the clamping part.
