The present invention relates to an improved structure of a treadmill, more particularly, to a frame structure of an electrical, collapsible treadmill. The frame structure includes a front frame assembly, a rear frame assembly and elevation mechanism disposed under the front frame assembly. The elevation mechanism includes a front leg assembly, a rear leg assembly and an elevation device, of which the front leg assembly and rear leg assembly are pivotally and slidably connected to each other, such that the elevation mechanism is able to support the front and rear frame assembly by means of scissors type supporting structures without the need of a base. When in use, the treadmill can be kept stable without the need of any extra fastening means; whereas when being stored, the treadmill can be folded by only flipping over the rear frame assembly upward. This design makes the convenience in storage and reduces the costs in assembling and manufacturing.

Structure of a treadmill

An exercising device includes a hand operated member pivoted to a mounting frame and connected to a first coupler member which proceeds with a first reciprocating movement, and a lever member pivoted to the frame and connected to a second coupler member which proceeds with a second reciprocating movement. The second coupler member has a rear coupling end on which a motion guiding member, that is in slidable contact with the first coupler member, is mounted. A crank member is pivoted to a rear coupling end of the first coupler member. A synchronizing member is disposed to couple the hand operated member with the lever member such that the first and second reciprocating movements are synchronized, thereby rendering the second coupler member to run along an elliptical path.

Exercising device that produces elliptical foot movement

An exercising device includes a hand operated member pivoted to a frame and connected to a first coupler, a lever member pivoted to the frame and connected to the hand operated member by a linking bar, and a second coupler member with a front coupling end connected to the lever member and a rear coupling end in friction contact with a motion guiding member which is journalled on first and second crank members. As such, the second coupling member proceeds with a reciprocating movement in a substantially elliptical path which is restrained by the pivot connection between the handle operated member and the lever member.

Exercising device

A treading exerciser has a grip member which is retained removably by a grip retainer on an upper portion of an upright post that is connected to a front end of a treading base. The grip member is adapted to be gripped by one hand of the user of the treading exerciser, and has a sensor unit mounted thereon and adapted to detect the heart beat of the user and to generate an electrical signal corresponding to the heart beat. An electrical cable unit connects the sensor unit to a control panel on the upright post, thereby enabling the control panel to monitor the heart beat of the user.

Treading exerciser with heart beat monitoring capability

A walking exerciser includes a treadmill body, and a threaded rod which can be driven by a driving unit to extend from or withdraw into a movable tube. When the treadmill body is disposed at a horizontal position, the threaded rod is in a withdrawn position. Extension of the threaded rod turns the treadmill body from the horizontal position to a first inclined position, where a front section of the treadmill body is disposed higher than a rear section of the treadmill body. Withdrawal of the threaded rod relative to the tube turns the treadmill body from the first inclined position to a second inclined position, where the rear section of the treadmill body is disposed higher than the front section of the treadmill body. Then, the treadmill body can be turned to a vertical position by extending and subsequently withdrawing the threaded rod relative to the tube.

Walking exerciser having a mechanically operated treadmill body

Several embodiments of a foldable and transportable elliptical exercise machine are disclosed which include pedal arms and optional corresponding load bearing rails that are folded to an upright position for storage and transportation. The pedal arms are shaped to optimize user safety and exercise productivity. The device housing can include movable portions that optimize safety during use, but accommodate the pedal arms in the upright and folded position.

Foldable elliptical exercise machine

A foldable exerciser includes a base member, an upright post, a pair of rail members, and a pair of pedal rods. The base member has a main shaft, and front and rear bars connected transversely to the main shaft. The upright post is connected to the front bar of the base member. The rail members are connected slidably and respectively to the opposed ends of the rear bar. Each of the rail members has front and rear ends, and is disposed perpendicularly to the rear bar on either side of the base member. The rail members are movable between a retracted position and an extended position. Each of the pedal rods is disposed on either side of the base member and has front and rear sections. The rear sections are foldable forwardly relative to the front sections of the pedal rods. The upright post has a lower tube and an upper tube that is foldable downwardly relative to the lower tube.
