A projection device and a heat dissipation control method are provided. The projection device includes a closed accommodating space, and a heating element, a cooling element, and an active dehumidification unit that are located inside the closed accommodating space. The heat dissipation control method includes the following steps: obtaining specification temperature information by a specification temperature information obtaining unit, and determining a specification temperature of the cooling element according to the specification temperature information; sensing an ambient temperature and an ambient humidity inside the closed accommodating space by a temperature and humidity sensing unit, and calculating a dew point temperature according to the ambient temperature and the ambient humidity; obtaining a cold end temperature of a cold end surface by a temperature sensing unit; and determining, based on the dew point temperature, the specification temperature, and the cold end temperature, whether to turn on or off the active dehumidification unit.

Projection device and heat dissipation control method

An optical engine module includes a housing, an assembling element, a light valve and a first heat exchange assembly. The assembling element has an opening corresponding to an assembly hole of the housing and is assembled on the housing in a non-direct contact mode. The light valve includes a base and an imaging element. The base bears against the assembling element, and an imaging surface of the imaging element faces the opening. The housing, the assembling element and the light valve define a chamber. The first heat exchange assembly is disposed on the assembling element and includes at least one first heat conduction component and a first heat dissipation fin set. The first heat dissipation fin set is located outside the housing. The first heat conduction component extends from the assembling element to the outside of the housing and is connected with the first heat dissipation fin set.

A projection apparatus and a heat dissipation control method therefor. The projection apparatus includes a light valve module, a light source providing an illumination beam, a brightness sensor sensing a brightness of the illumination beam, a cooling element having a cold end surface dissipating heat from the light valve module and a hot end surface, a humidity sensor sensing an ambient humidity, a first temperature sensor sensing an ambient temperature, a second temperature sensor sensing a cold end temperature, and a controller coupled to the brightness sensor, the humidity sensor, the first temperature sensor, the second temperature sensor, the cooling element, and the light source. The controller determines a specification temperature according to the brightness, calculates a dewpoint temperature according to the ambient temperature and the ambient humidity, and adjusts a first power of the light source according to the dewpoint temperature, the specification temperature and the cold end temperature.

Projection apparatus and heat dissipation control method

An illumination module includes a light source, a supporting element, a guiding tube and an airflow generator. The supporting element is fixed relative to the light source. The guiding tube is pivoted to the supporting element and adjacent to the light source. The guiding tube is capable of moving between a first position and a second position relative to the light source. The airflow generator has an airflow outlet and is capable of generating an airflow. The airflow outlet is adjacent to the guiding tube. The airflow flows into the light source through the guiding tube. The invention also provides a projector with the illumination module.
