The opening and closing apparatus includes a lower unit case, an upper unit case, a hinge, a lower guide member, an upper guide member and an opening/closing linking unit. The upper unit case is configured to open and close with respect to the lower unit case. The lower guide member is disposed in the lower unit case, and the upper guide member is disposed in the upper unit case. The opening/closing linking unit includes a first rotating member, a second rotating member and a linking portion. As the upper unit case is closed, the opening/closing linking unit moves from the base end side toward the distal end side along the upper guide member and the lower guide member.

A printer includes: a recording head which records an image on a recording medium; a carriage which carries the recording head and is movable in a scanning direction; a guide member which extends in the scanning direction and guides a movement of the carriage in the scanning direction; an angle-controlling member which is supported by the carriage to be pivotable relative thereto and controls an angular position of the carriage relative to the guide member in a state in which at least one contact surface of the angle-controlling member is in contact with a surface of the guide member that extends in the scanning direction; and a pivotal-position adjusting device which adjusts a pivotal position of the angle-controlling member relative to the carriage.

Work device and image recording apparatus equipped with the work device

A carriage includes a carriage body and a carriage cover. The carriage body has a joint portion to which ink tubes are connected while being arranged in a lateral direction, and a flat plane formed from the joint portion in an extending direction of the ink tubes and carrying the ink tubes slidably in the lateral direction. The carriage cover has a pressing member attached on an upper side of the carriage body and maintaining the ink tubes in an arrangement state in the lateral direction. The ink tubes are pinched between the carriage cover and the flat plane slidably in the lateral direction.
