The present invention belongs to the technical field of liquid crystal materials, and in particular relates to a liquid crystal composition and a liquid crystal display element or liquid crystal display containing the liquid crystal composition. The present invention discloses a liquid crystal composition, comprising one or more compounds represented by Formula I, one or more compounds represented by Formula II, and one or more compounds represented by Formula III. The liquid crystal composition of the present invention has a large optical anisotropy and a small ratio of γ/K, and can be used for developing a liquid crystal display element or liquid crystal display with a low cell thickness and a fast response.

A liquid crystal composition, a liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal display including the liquid crystal composition, belonging to the field of liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal composition includes a compound represented by formula I and one or more compounds represented by formula II. The liquid crystal composition can increase the dielectric anisotropy and improve the voltage retention rate. 

Provided are a polymerizable compound represented by formula I and a liquid crystal composition comprising the polymerizable compound, particularly a PSVA liquid crystal composition for displays or TV applications and a PSA-IPS liquid crystal composition for an IPS mode; in particular, the polymerizable compound has a faster polymerization rate, and a 'material system' formed from the selected polymerizable component and liquid crystal component has a lower rotary viscosity and better photoelectric properties, and has a high VHR after (UV) photoradiation, this avoiding the problem of the occurrence of residual images to final displays.

Liquid crystal compound and liquid crystal composition

A negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal compound containing 2,3-difluorophenyl, and a preparation method and use thereof are disclosed. The compound has a general structural formula as shown in Formula I. The negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal compound has a negative dielectric anisotropy (&#x394;&#x2208;), and has cyclobutyl or cyclopentyl as a terminal group. Compared with conventional liquid crystal compounds with a flexible alkyl chain as a terminal group, the compound of Formula I according to the present invention has the advantage of high clearing point, and enables extension of the application range of a liquid crystal mixture because a positive correlation exists between the clearing points of the liquid crystal mixture and monomer liquid crystal compounds. Negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal compounds containing 2,3-difluorophenyl group, and preparation method and use thereof

A cycloheptane derivative as represented by formula (I), and preparation method and use thereof; the compound has photostability and thermostability, wide nematic phase and liquid crystalline state temperature range, and good low-temperature intersolubility, and particularly has low rotary viscosity &#x3b3;and good dielectric anisotropy (&#x394;&#x2208;&#x3e;0). 

Cycloheptane derivative and preparation method and use thereof

A liquid crystal compound containing cyclobutyl and a linking group difluoromethyleneoxy, and a preparation method and use thereof are disclosed. The compound is as shown in Formula I. The liquid crystal compound containing cyclobutyl as a terminal group and difluoromethyleneoxy (&#x2014;CFO&#x2014;) as a linking group in the molecular structure of Formula I according to the present invention, has not only a high dielectric anisotropy, but also importantly an extremely fast response speed and a high clearing point, which are of great significance for the formulation of a liquid crystal mixture.

Disclosed is a liquid crystal compound. The compound has a general structural formula as shown by formula I.  Such a compound has good thermal and UV stability, large positive dielectric anisotropy &#x394;&#x2208;, and can achieve a low threshold voltage when used in optics, thereby having great significance to the fast response of display devices, and therefore being very suitable for formulating a liquid crystal mixture. A liquid crystal mixture containing such a liquid crystal unit can be applied to various display devices, and is especially suitable for TN-TFT and STN display devices, but can also be used in IPS (in-plane switching) and VA (vertically aligned) display devices.
