The method includes steps of: determining a temporal motion vector prediction value of a to-be-processed coding unit, where the temporal motion vector prediction value is a temporal motion vector prediction value of a sub-block, a temporal motion vector of which is obtainable through prediction, in sub-blocks adjacent to the to-be-processed coding unit and/or sub-blocks in the to-be-processed coding unit; determining a motion vector residual prediction value of the to-be-processed coding unit according to the temporal motion vector prediction value; determining a motion vector of a sub-block in the to-be-processed coding unit according to the temporal motion vector prediction value and the motion vector residual prediction value and performing a motion compensation according to the motion vector of the sub-block in the to-be-processed coding unit to determine a prediction block of the to-be-processed coding unit.

Method and device for encoding or decoding based on inter-frame prediction

A method for deriving motion vector is provided, this method includes: obtaining a space domain motion vector prediction and a time domain motion vector prediction of adjacent blocks of a coding unit in a predetermined direction; performing a filtering operation on the space domain motion vector and the time domain motion vector prediction to obtain the space domain motion vector prediction and the time domain motion vector prediction of the filtered adjacent blocks; determining, according to a predetermined inter-frame prediction mode, reference motion vectors of a current block in four side directions by using the space domain motion vector prediction and the time domain motion vector prediction of the filtered adjacent blocks and a coordinate position of the current block in the coding unit; and deriving motion vectors of the current block according to the reference motion vectors and the coordinate position of the current block in the coding unit.

The method comprises: acquiring reconstructed pixels adjacent to a to-be-predicted prediction block; determining corresponding reconstructed pixels adjacent to the to-be-predicted prediction block among the reconstructed pixels as reference pixels for filtering, based on prediction modes of the to-be-predicted prediction block; based on the reference pixels, using a filter corresponding to prediction modes of the to-be-predicted prediction block to filter interim prediction values of the to-be-predicted prediction block, to obtain new pixel values of the to-be-predicted prediction block, wherein the interim prediction values are obtained based on other intra prediction methods; performing a CLIP operation on the new pixel values of the to-be-predicted prediction block, to obtain a first prediction value of the to-be-predicted prediction block. By the method provided in the specification, the accuracy of intra prediction may be improved, and coding efficiency may be improved.

Intra-prediction-based encoding and decoding method, apparatus and filter

Disclosed is a boundary filtering method for intra prediction, relating to the video encoding technology filed. Whether boundary filtering is performed on an intra prediction block or not is adaptively selected by means of a rate distortion optimization decision; during filtering, a filter coefficient exponentially attenuated relative to distance to boundary is adopted to perform filtering on the first N rows or the first N columns of the intra prediction block by means of an intra prediction block filter, and different filtering strengths are used according to different sizes of the prediction blocks. Therefore, the boundary distortion problem of intra prediction block is solved, the intra prediction precision is improved, and the encoding efficiency of intra prediction block is increased; and the practicability and the robustness of the boundary filtering technology are improved.

The present application provides methods, systems, devices and computer-readable mediums for encoding and decoding transform. A method of the present application comprises: performing transform-encoding on a prediction residual block separately using a plurality of transform matrices, to obtain transformed residual blocks; based on the transformed residual block, determining, by a rate-distortion optimization decision, a transform matrix or a combination of transform matrices matching the residual characteristics of the prediction residual block from the plurality of transform matrices, and determining a transformed residual block to be outputted in a bitstream. Compared with the prior art, the method of the embodiments of the present invention performs a residual transform using transform matrices that are more closely matched with the residual characteristic, thereby improving the expression of the residual signal and improving the coding efficiency of the residual block.

An intra-frame and inter-frame combined prediction method for P frames or B frames. The method comprises: self-adaptively selecting by means of a rate-distortion optimization (RDO) decision whether to use the intra-frame and inter-frame combined prediction or not; using a method for weighting an intra prediction block and an inter prediction block in the intra-frame and inter-frame combined prediction to obtain a final prediction block; and obtaining the weighting coefficient of the intra prediction block and the inter prediction block according to prediction distortion statistics of the prediction method. Therefore, prediction precision can be improved, and coding and decoding efficiency of the prediction blocks are improved. The advantages of intra prediction and inter prediction are fully utilized in the present invention; and the optimal prediction parts of the two methods are selected to be combined, so that to a certain extent, areas with excessive distortion can be removed out of the intra prediction block and the inter prediction block, thus obtaining a better prediction effect and achieving excellent practicality and robustness.

Intra-frame and inter-frame combined prediction method for P frames or B frames

The present application provides a filtering method for intra-frame and inter-frame prediction. For a pixel value obtained by prediction, whether to filter a prediction block is self-adaptively determined by means of an RDO decision; and a filter is established based on a generalized Gaussian distribution function, and different filters are used for prediction blocks of different sizes, and filter parameters are obtained by training the prediction blocks of each size. The method comprises performing RDO on each coding unit on a coding end, and firstly performing intra-frame prediction or inter-frame prediction on each coding unit; then filtering the prediction block using the filtering method of the present invention, and determining whether to use prediction block filtering by means of an RDO decision; on a decoding end, configuring different filtering coefficients for different prediction block sizes; and decoding according to a flag. Therefore, the problem of prediction block distortion is solved, and the prediction precision can be improved, improving the coding efficiency of an intra-frame and inter-frame prediction block.

Filtering method for intra-frame and inter-frame prediction

Disclosed is an intraframe prediction method, wherein for an intraframe predicted block in an interframe predicted frame, when an interframe predicted blocks exists on the lower right of the intraframe predicted block, a coding and decoding sequence of intraframe and interframe blocks is adjusted, and intraframe prediction is performed in a lower right intraframe prediction approach, i.e., performing prediction using the lower right reconstructed pixel value as the reference pixel point for the intraframe predicted block; at the coding procedure, each coded unit is first coded, and upon completion of the coding, information of all interframe predicted blocks is written into a code stream; next, two-pass coding is performed to the intraframe predicted block; lower right intraframe coding is performed during the two-pass coding process; after completion of the two-pass coding, the information of the intraframe predicted block is written into the code stream; at the decoding procedure, decoding of all interframe predicted blocks is first completed; then, lower right intraframe decoding is performed to the intraframe predicted blocks. The present disclosure may improve the intraframe prediction accuracy and enhance the coding efficiency of the intraframe predicted block in the interframe predicted frame.

For various reference pixel points not located at an edge in a reference pixel group, according to the local difference characteristics of these reference pixel points, filters with corresponding filtering grades are flexibly configured, thus providing flexibility and adaptivity to the filtering, achieving better effect.
