A data transmitting apparatus, a data receiving apparatus and methods thereof are provided. The data transmitting apparatus includes an encoding module, an encoding table, a first encoding parameter, a second encoding parameter and a transmitting module. The encoding module reads and encodes data content containing at least one data unit. The encoding table records a variety of information of multiple data units, and the variety of information contain a unit content, a number of times encoded and a recorded position of each of the data units. The first encoding parameter provides first information of the data unit, and the first information relate to an existing state of the unit content of the data unit in the encoding table. The second encoding parameter provides second information, and the second information relate to an amount of data units currently recorded in the encoding table. The transmitting module transmits an encoded data.

Data transmitting apparatus, data receiving apparatus and method thereof having encoding or decoding functionalities

A method for scheduling multiple periodic requests includes the following steps. The utilization rate of a processing unit is monitored. Multiple periodic requests are received, where the iperiodic request has an original period Pand an execution time b. The original period and the execution time of each periodic request are recorded. When the utilization rate of the processing unit exceeds an upper limit, the period of each periodic request is adjusted to be an updated period P', P&#x2032;=n&#x2033;+&#x394;, n is an integer greater than 1, qis an integer greater than 0, and &#x394; is an integer greater than or equal to 0. The periodic requests are scheduled according to the updated period of each periodic request and the execution time of each periodic request to obtain a scheduling result. The scheduling result is transmitted.

Method for scheduling multiple periodic requests and scheduling device

A remote management system for Customer premises equipment WAN Management Protocol (CWMP) is provided. The remote management system includes at least one CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and one server coupled to the CPE via a network. The CPE transmits a request to the server via the network. The server processes the request from the CPE according to a processing order, wherein the server provides a table which contains forecasted processing times for commands of a plurality of data models compatible with the CWMP. Upon receiving the request, the server generates a command configuration document according to the request, forecasts and obtains a first processing time corresponding to the command configuration document, and then dynamically adjusts and arranges the processing order for processing the request in the server according to the first processing time and a maximum waiting time corresponding to the request.

Remote management systems and apparatuses for CWMP and methods for improving performance of remote management thereof

A session-based remote management system and a load balance controlling method are provided. The session-based remote management system includes a plurality of client servers, a load balancing server, a plurality of local databases, a shared database and a monitor server. The session-based remote management system is adapted for a plurality of clients coupling to a plurality of local databases and a shared database through a plurality of client servers. The load balance controlling method includes following steps. A computing performance of the clients and the client servers are analyzed. The clients are dispatched to the client servers based on the computing performance of the clients and the client servers. A crash probability of the client servers are dynamically predicted to obtain a health value.

Session-based remote management system and load balance controlling method

An auto-configuration server (ACS) and a management method of customer premises equipments (CPEs) thereof are provided, and the ACS includes a sub server communication module and a group management module. When an online message is received from a new CPE, the management method includes performing an extension procedure including the following steps. A health value of the ACS is calculated. When the health value of the ACS is less than or equal to a health threshold, a new group and a sub server corresponding to the new group are added and the new CPE is managed by the sub server corresponding to the new group.

A remote management system with adaptive management mechanism is disclosed, by using an adaptive feedback session management decision (AFSMD) server to connect a plurality of clients and a plurality of cluster nodes respectively. AFSMD server includes a session ID map manager for recording mapping between session and cluster node forwarded to; a decision grade producer, for producing a decision grade to determine the session management manner required for the current session; a session connection number query (SCNQ) for communicating with a storage to obtain a total connection number of a client; a cluster node communication interface, for communicating with cluster nodes and for information cluster nodes if session needs duplication; and a session management decision controller for overseeing the entire session management decision flow to achieve higher efficiency.
