Disclosed are a method and a system of device-to-device tunnel establishment between small cells, applied to a wireless backhaul management device, a first small cell and a second small cell. The method comprises: matching the first small cell and the second small cell according to a first discovery response and a second discovery response; submitting a match report; replying with a match report response; conducting a D2D connection authentication procedure between the second small cell and the first small cell; wirelessly connecting the second small cell and the first small cell, conducting a connection test and submitting a connection test report; replying with a D2D tunnel establishment decision according to the connection test report; and establishing a D2D tunnel between the second small cell and the first small cell.

Method and system of device-to-device tunnel establishment between small cells

Provided is a wireless communication method. At least an interfering link is selected from a plurality of wireless communication links. At least a first wireless communication helping device group of the at least interfering link is determined, wherein the at least first wireless communication helping device group includes at least a wireless communication helping device. A method for interference coordination, a network server, and a communication system are provided. The method includes the following steps. A first macrocell almost blank subframe (ABS) pattern is received from a first macrocell. A second macrocell ABS pattern is received from a second macrocell. A first small cell ABS pattern for a first small cell is determined according to the first macrocell ABS pattern and the second macrocell ABS pattern. The first small cell ABS pattern is transmitted to the first small cell. The first small cell is within a coverage of the first macrocell.

Method for interference coordination, network server and communication system using the same

A cell and a method and a system for bandwidth management of a backhaul network of the cell, adapted for arranging a routing path of a bearer established between a user equipment and a serving gateway through the cell in the backhaul network, are provided. In the method, the cell connects the user equipment to establish the bearer between the user equipment and the serving gateway or change an established bearer. The cell sets a packet label on the data packets of the bearer and transmits the packet label and bandwidth management information of the bearer to a controller of the backhaul network for the controller to arrange the routing path of the data packets using the packet label in the backhaul network according to the bandwidth management information.

A software defined network (SDN) and a corresponding mobility management method and a corresponding controller are provided. The SDN includes a controller, a plurality of switches and a plurality of edge devices. The controller manages a topology and routing actions of the SDN. When a user equipment (UE) attaches to a target edge device in the edge devices, the target edge device transmits a notification message to the controller. The controller updates flow entries in the switches and the edge devices according to the notification message.

A home base station and method for supporting a plurality of cells under carrier aggregation. The home base station includes a preamble generator and a preamble monitor. The preamble generator allocates respective random access resources in the cells for handover to be carried out by a user equipment (UE), and upon receiving a handover request signal transmitted by a Mobility Management Entity (MME), generates a specific preamble and its transmission time, so that the UE performs random access on the cells based on the preamble and the transmission time to obtain the random access resources and sends out a Random Access Preamble (RAP). The preamble monitor enables the cells to simultaneously monitor the RAP sent by the UE, and when one of the cells receiving the RAP, identifies the cell on which the UE camps based on which one of the cells that has the RAP.

Home base station and method for supporting plurality of cells under carrier aggregation

An operation method in heterogeneous networks, and a gateway and a wireless communication device using the same are disclosed. The operation method in heterogeneous networks includes followings. When a gateway, connecting a first communication network and a second communication network, operates in a beacon mode, the gateway determines whether the first communication network is in an allowed period or a forbidden period, and generates a determination result. Then, the gateway adaptively adjusts a ratio of a superframe duration to a beacon interval of a periodic beacon of the second communication network according to the determination result. In addition, the gateway is connected to a M2M communication server via the first communication network, and the gateway is connected to at least one M2M communication device via the second communication network.

Operation method in heterogeneous networks and gateway and wireless communication device using the same

A method for application layer gateway (ALG) assisted local IP access (LIPA) at a base station by network address translation (NAT) allows IP capable UEs connected via HeNB or other kinds of Femto cell base station to use LIPA to establish multimedia session with other IP capable entities in the same IP network by NAT. The method relays a LIPA request to IMS, determines whether the terminating entity residing in the same IP network or not, and determines if the originating and terminating entities are allowed to use LIPA, and modifies the transport address information accordingly to facilitate signaling and packet routing. The method also provides the capability to apply different charging policies for LIPA and non-LIPA usages.

System and method for application layer gateway assisted local IP access at a femto base station by network address translation

The present invention discloses a power-efficient backbone-oriented wireless sensor network, a method for constructing the same and a method for repairing the same, wherein energy-rich nodes are used to form backbones linking to a server, and wherein regular nodes having limited energy storage link to the backbones. When one energy-rich node malfunctions, the energy-rich node, which is posterior to the malfunctioning energy-rich node, searches for and links to a linkable neighboring energy-rich node on the backbone. If there is none linkable neighboring energy-rich node, the regular nodes are used to form a temporary tunnel until the malfunctioning energy-rich node has been repaired. The present invention can relieve the influence of hot spots, increase the robustness of the wireless sensor network, and prolong the service life of the wireless sensor network.

A wireless communication method for providing zone boundary detection performed by a controller managing communications within a multicast/broadcast service (MBS) zone. The method includes assigning to a boundary paging group a first base station communicating within the MBS zone and near a boundary of the MBS zone. The method further includes transmitting, through a second base station which covers a mobile station, to the mobile station information indicating that the boundary paging group corresponds to locations near the boundary of the MBS zone.

System and method for multicast/broadcast service zone boundary detection

The present invention discloses an asymmetric routing method and routing path recovery mechanism. The wireless sensor network environment includes at least a management unit, at least a gateway, and mobile nodes. When joining, each mobile node obtains an unique ID code and, additionally, a depth as the gradient to the management unit. Accordingly, a mobile node sends an uplink packet via a nearby node with lower depth to the management unit; while the management unit transmits a downlink packet to a mobile node by utilizing the source route method. When the parent node of a mobile node is damaged or moves to another position or said mobile node with its sub-tree descendants changes their position together, the uplink routing path is recovered via selecting a nearby node of the sub-tree as relay node and the downlink routing path is recovered via sending a control message to the management unit.
