A light emitting diode display system includes a first LED display module, a second LED display module, a control module, and a first driving module. The first LED display module includes a plurality of LED units for displaying an image. The first driving module is electrically connected to the control module and the first LED display module. The control module provides a plurality of control signals corresponding to the image to the first driving module for driving the LED units of the first LED display module, and displaying the image on the second LED display module. The image of the first light emitting diode display module is determined by a user according to the image displayed on the second light emitting diode display module.

Light emitting diode display system and image detecting method

An LED driving circuit is provided in the present disclosure for driving an LED matrix module. The LED matrix module includes a plurality of LED units. The LED driving circuit includes a control module, a first driving module and a switch module. The first driving module is used for driving at least one column of the LED matrix module according to a first driving signal provided by the control module. The switch module is electrically connected to the control module for receiving a second driving signal from the control module to drive the at least one row of the LED units of the LED matrix module.

The present disclosure provides a dot correction method for a LED display device. The LED display device has a plurality of LED units arranged in an array. The method comprises providing driving currents to the plurality of LED units in columns or rows of the LED display device to make the LED units emit light; obtaining non-uniform brightness information corresponding to the LED units in columns or rows of the LED display device; and adjusting the driving current provided to each LED unit according to the non-uniform brightness information, in order to make the brightness of each LED unit be the same.

A driving circuit for driving a light emitting diode module includes: a control module; a driving module electrically connected to the control module and the light emitting diode module for providing a plurality of driving signals to drive the light emitting diode module; and a detecting module electrically connected to the light emitting diode and the control module, the detecting module detecting a voltage or a current of the light emitting diode module and transmitting a detecting signal corresponding to the voltage or the current of the light emitting diode module to the control module. The present disclosure illustrates a display device. The displaying device comprises a display panel, at least one scan driving unit and a data driving unit. The display panel is divided into display regions respectively having pixel sets. At least one scan driving unit having scanning lines couples to the pixel sets. The at least one scan driving unit outputs scanning signals to corresponding display regions upon receiving a first control signal. The data driving unit outputs data signals to the corresponding display regions upon receiving a second control signal. A driving circuit applied in a display system includes a node, a current control circuit, a protecting circuit and a timing controller, wherein the node is arranged to connect to a lighting element; the current control circuit is coupled to the node and arranged to selectively provide a current to the lighting element according to a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal; the protecting circuit is coupled to the node and arranged to be selectively enabled to limit the voltage of the node according to a control signal to make the voltage of the node maintain a predetermined voltage, wherein the lighting element does not have any current passed through when the voltage of the node maintains the predetermined voltage; and the timing controller is arranged to generate the PWM signal and the control signal.

The present disclosure provides a signal generating method and a circuit for controlling dimming of an LED. The method comprises generating a first pulse signal, the first pulse signal comprising information of P bits gray levels, P being an integer, wherein the minimum pulse-width of the first pulse is N, N is an integer; generating a second pulse signal after the first pulse signal, the second pulse signal comprising information of Q bits gray levels, Q being an integer, wherein the amplitude of the second pulse signal is different from the amplitude of the first pulse signal, the minimum pulse-width of the second pulse is the same as the minimum pulse-width of the first pulse; and utilizing the first pulse signal and the second pulse signal to represent gray levels information of the LED.

A chip applied to a serial transmission system includes an input terminal, a core circuit, an output terminal, a first transmission line, a second transmission line and a spare transmission line, where the input terminal is used to receive an input signal from a source outside the chip, the output terminal is used to output an output signal, the first transmission lines is coupled between the input terminal and the core circuit, the second transmission line is coupled between the core circuit and the output terminal, and the spare transmission line is coupled between the input terminal and the output terminal. When the core circuit cannot process the input terminal normally, the input signal is directly transmitted to the output terminal via the spare transmission line, and the input signal serves as the output signal to be outputted from the output terminal.

Chip applied to serial transmission system and associated fail safe method

A shunt protection module and method for series connected devices use multiple shunt semiconductors and a control unit. The shunt semiconductors correspond respectively to multiple target devices. Each shunt semiconductor connects to a corresponding target device in parallel. The control unit connects to trigger terminals of the shunt semiconductors. Because each shunt semiconductor has a characteristic that with the higher voltage the trigger terminal is input, the lower the electrical potential difference between shunt terminals is, and the control unit outputs a trigger voltage that is equal to the electrical potential difference on at least two adjacent target devices to the shunt semiconductor corresponding to a failed target device, an electrical potential difference on the shunt semiconductor is low when it operates. The shunt protection module and method ensure providing high trigger voltage to the shunt semiconductor corresponding to the failed target device.

A liquid crystal lens cell set includes a plurality of liquid crystal lenses overlapping to each other. Each of the liquid crystal lenses is supported between a pair of flat layers. One of the layers supports a planar electrode made of ITO. The other electrode, also formed of ITO, is supported in the center of the opposing substrate and projects toward the center of the liquid crystal layer. A power supply creates a potential difference between the electrodes and imposes a non-uniform electric field on the liquid crystal modules which aligns them in which a way as to act as a lens. By varying voltage between the electrodes the focal length of the lens may be controlled. A central electrode may be in the form of a beam or of a pointed tip. An electrode having a central hole may be associated with the central electrode or the planar electrode.
