A pixel structure includes a substrate, a scan line disposed on the substrate, and a common electrode and a data line both disposed on a side of the pixel electrode. The substrate includes a sub pixel, which includes a pixel electrode and an active element. The common electrode includes a first connection segment connecting a first segment and a second segment. The data line includes a second connection segment connecting a first section and a second section. The first segment and the second segment, as well as the first section and the second section, extend in a first direction and are alternately arranged in a second direction. The first direction intersects with the second direction. The first connection segment mutually intersects with the second connection segment. The pixel electrode overlaps with a part of the common electrode and a part of the data line in a perpendicular projection direction.

Pixel structure and display panel thereof

A pixel structure and a display panel using the same are disclosed. The pixel structure includes a first substrate, a scan line, a first pixel, an auxiliary electrode, a data line, and an insulation layer. The scan line is disposed on the first substrate. The first pixel is disposed on the first substrate. The first pixel includes a first pixel electrode and a first active element. The first pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first active element. The auxiliary electrode is disposed on the first substrate. The data line is disposed on the auxiliary electrode. The data line has a slit. The slit at least partially overlaps the auxiliary electrode in a vertical projection direction. The insulation layer is disposed between the data line and the auxiliary electrode.

Pixel structure and display panel using same

Disclosed herein is a display device switchable between a mirror mode and a display mode. The display device includes a display panel, a polarizing element and a reflective polarizer. The display panel has a light-emitting surface for emitting a polarized light. The polarizing element has an absorption axis, and is disposed on a side adjacent to the light-emitting surface. The polarizing element is switchable between a polarizing mode and a non-polarizing mode. When the polarizing element is operated in the polarizing mode, the polarizing element absorbs a polarized light in the polarization direction parallel with the absorption axis. When the polarizing element is operated in the non-polarizing mode, the polarizing element allows the polarized light emitted from the display panel to pass there through. The reflective polarizer is disposed between the display panel and the polarizing element.

Display device switchable between mirror mode and display mode

A display panel including an active device array substrate, a color filter and a display medium layer is provided. The color filter is disposed above the active device array substrate and includes a substrate and a yellowish photoresist. The yellowish photoresist is disposed between the substrate and the active device array substrate. The yellowish photoresist includes a first fluorescent material, and the optical transmittance in the optical transmitted spectrum of the yellowish photoresist corresponding to the wavelength between 600 nm and 800 nm is greater than 1. The display medium layer is disposed between the active device array substrate and the color filter.

Display panel and color filter thereof

A display device includes at least one light-emitting device and a color filter pattern. The light-emitting device is used to emit a white light having a white point chromaticity coordinates (Wx, Wy), where 0.228&#x3c;Wx&#x3c;0.278 and 0.186&#x3c;Wy&#x3c;0.315. The color filter pattern includes red, green and blue color filters. The peak wavelength of the red color filter is in a range of 725 nm to 780 nm, and its relative intensity is in a range of 0.95 to 1. The peak wavelength of the green color filter is 517&#xb1;2 nm, and its relative intensity of the peak wavelength is in a range of 0.72 to 0.77. The peak wavelength of the blue color filter is 454&#xb1;2 nm, and its relative intensity is in a range of 0.8 to 0.85.

Display device

A color light-emitting diode using a blue light component to produce red light and green light is disclosed. A blue-light emitting material is provided between a cathode layer and an anode layer for emitting the blue light component. A light re-emitting layer has a first material in a first diode section arranged to produce a red light component in response to the blue light component, and a second material in a second diode section arranged to produce a green light component in response to the blue light component. A transparent material in a third diode section allows part of the blue light component to transmit through. The anode layer is partitioned into three electrode portions separately located in the three diode sections, so that the red, green and blue light components in the diode sections can be separately controlled.

Multi-color light emitting diode and method for making same

Disclosed herein is a color filter, which includes a substrate and a green color resist. The green color resist is disposed on the substrate. The green color resist has a function A(&#x3bb;) defined by a product of the transmittance spectrum of the green color resist and the CIE color matching function(&#x3bb;). The function A(&#x3bb;) has a maximum of less than 0.28, and the function A(&#x3bb;) satisfies the following formula (II):&#x222b;(&#x3bb;)&#x3bb;&#x3e;10.26&#x2003;&#x2003;formula (II).

Color filter and liquid crystal display

A display device and color filter substrate thereof are provided. The color filter substrate includes a substrate and a green color filter disposed on the substrate. A concentration of halogen in the green color filter is less than 10 ppm. The green color filter has a transmittance spectrum G(&#x3bb;), and CMF_Z(&#x3bb;) is the color matching function defined by International Commission on Illumination (CIE). A peak intensity between 380 nm and 780 nm of G(&#x3bb;)&#xd7;CMF_Z(&#x3bb;) is in a range between 0.33 and 0.4.

Display device and color filter substrate thereof

A display device includes at least one light-emitting device and a patterned color filter layer. The light-emitting device is used to provide a white light having a white point chromaticity coordinate (Wx, Wy) where 0.23&#x3c;Wx&#x3c;0.27, 0.22&#x3c;Wy&#x3c;0.25. The patterned color filter layer includes a red color filter, a green color filter and a blue color filter. Peaks of transmittance spectrums of the red color filter, the green color filter, and the blue color filter are respectively between 720 nm and 780 nm, between 534&#xb1;2 nm, and between 449&#xb1;2 nm. Intensities of the peaks of the transmittance spectrums of the red color filter, the green color filter, and the blue color filter are respectively between 0.95 and 1, between 0.88 and 0.91, and between 0.83 and 0.87.
