Disclosed is a data flow classification device including a forwarding circuit and a configuring circuit. The forwarding circuit looks the classification of an input flow up in a lookup table according to the information of the input flow, tags the packets of the input flow with the classification, and outputs the packets to a buffer circuit. The configuring circuit receives and stores the identification and traffic information of multiple flows, and accordingly calculates the traffic of the multiple flows, wherein the multiple flows include the input flow. The configuring circuit further determines an elephant flow threshold according to a queue length of the buffer circuit and a target length, determines the classifications of the multiple flows according to the comparison between the traffic of the multiple flows and the elephant flow threshold, and stores these classifications in the lookup table.

Data flow classification device

A data flow classification device includes a forwarding circuit and a configuring circuit. The forwarding circuit looks the classification of an input flow up in a lookup table according to the information of the input flow, tags the packets of the input flow with the classification, and outputs the packets to a buffer circuit; but if the classification is not found in the lookup table, the forwarding circuit tags the packets with a predetermined classification, outputs the packets to the buffer circuit, and adds the information of the input flow to the lookup table. The configuring circuit determines a flow threshold according to a queue length of the buffer circuit and a target length, learns the traffic of multiple flows from the lookup table, determines the classifications of the multiple flows according to the comparison between the traffic and the flow threshold, and stores these classifications in the lookup table.

A network communication device includes a transceiver circuit and a controller. The transceiver circuit is configured to transmit or receive data via a plurality of antennas. The controller is coupled to the transceiver circuit, and the controller is configured to control the transceiver circuit to establish a transmission channel to provide a connection to a first electronic device. If a number of antennas of the first electronic device is less than a number of the plurality of antennas, the controller is configured to reconfigure the transmission channel as multiple channels, in order to provide the connection to the first electronic device via a first channel of the multiple channels, and the first channel corresponds to at least one first antenna of the plurality of antennas.

The present invention discloses a network service extension method and device capable of extending the range of a network service. An embodiment of said method comprises the following steps: establishing a link between a substantial network unit of a wireless network relay device and a wireless network serving device; configuring a virtual wireless network serving unit according to the link setting of the wireless network serving device, so as to make the link settings of the virtual wireless network serving unit and the wireless network serving device the same; establishing a link between the virtual wireless network serving unit and a wireless network demand device; and establishing the connection between the wireless network serving device and the wireless network demand device via the virtual wireless network serving unit and the substantial network unit.

Network service extension method and device

The present invention discloses a wireless communication device capable of establishing peer-to-peer connection passively or actively. The device conforms to an IEEE 802.11 standard, and comprises: a control block, a transmission circuit and a reception circuit. When the device intends to passively establish peer-to-peer connection, said control block generates a local-end peer-to-peer connection message which includes a local-end group owner intent but isn't generated in response to any known/detected device; said transmission circuit broadcasts a local-end peer-to-peer connection packet according to the message; and said reception circuit receives a connection-end peer-to-peer connection request from a connection-end for the first time after broadcasting the message, wherein the request includes a connection-end group owner decision related to the local-end group owner intent. Accordingly, after receiving the request, the wireless communication device functions as a master or a slave according to the decision, and then establishes the peer-to-peer connection with the first connection-end.

Wireless communication device and method capable of peer-to-peer interconnection

A wireless network system and a connecting method thereof are provided. The wireless network system includes a Wi-Fi apparatus and a communication apparatus. The Wi-Fi apparatus provides a Service Set Identifier (SSID). The SSID includes a first identifier value and a second identifier value, and the second identifier value is derived from the first identifier value by a hash function. After searching the SSID of the Wi-Fi apparatus, the communication apparatus determines that a value derived from the first identifier value of the SSID by the hash function is equal to the second identifier value, and then establishes a Wi-Fi authenticating connection with the Wi-Fi apparatus according to a connection password. The Wi-Fi apparatus establishes a data transmission connection with the communication apparatus after determining that the communication apparatus is legal according to the Wi-Fi authenticating connection.

A communication device includes a plurality of host control interfaces, an interface detector, and a transmitter. The plurality of host control interfaces selectively connect to a connection interface of a host. The interface detector is coupled to the plurality of host control interfaces and utilized for determine an interface specification of the connection interface to generate a detection result. The transmitter is coupled to the interface detector and supports a plurality of transmission power levels. A wireless receiver includes a radio frequency (RF) receiving unit and a baseband receiving unit. The baseband receiving unit is arranged for receiving the first baseband input signal and the second baseband input signal to generate a baseband decoded signal. One of the first path and the second path is an in-phase path, and the other is a quadrature-phase path. When the RF receiving unit operates in a first mode, the RF receiving unit only uses the first path to receive the input RF signal.
