A suppressor for a firearm has a tubular housing extending along a bore axis from a proximal end to a distal end. A baffle stack within the hollow tubular housing extends along the bore axis and includes a tubular baffle wall with a plurality of baffle structures connected to an inside of the tubular baffle wall, where individual baffle structures taper proximally to a central opening on the bore axis. The suppressor defines an inner volume inside of the tubular baffle wall and an outer volume between the tubular baffle wall and the hollow tubular housing. Flow-directing structures in the outer volume include pairs of diverging vanes and pairs of converging vanes. A conduit between adjacent baffle structures defines a gas flow pathway in a radially outer portion of the inner volume and defines an opening located between the adjacent baffle structures to direct gas flow across the bore axis.

A trigger assembly includes a selector operable between a safe position, a semiautomatic fire position, and an automatic fire position. In one example, the assembly includes a trigger rotatable between a resting position and a pulled position, a disconnector pivotable between a first position where it is in the path of the operational rod, and a second position where it is out of the path of the operational rod. A sear is pivotable between an engaged position and a disengaged position and is biased to the engaged position where it is positioned in the path of the operational rod. A sear link is pivotably connected to the trigger, such that pulling the trigger moves the sear link into contact with the sear to pivot the sear towards the disengaged position. The sear link is spaced from the sear when the trigger is in the resting position.

A mounting assembly for firearm muzzle device includes an attachment mount extending along a central axis and having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, the proximal end portion being configured to attach to a muzzle adapter or firearm muzzle, such as by threaded engagement. A locking mechanism on the mount proximal end portion includes cams received in openings defined in the mount proximal end portion, the cams movable between engaged position and disengaged positions. In the engaged position, the cams can engage an outer surface of a muzzle adapter installed in the attachment mount. A locking nut is rotatable about the mount proximal end portion and is configured so that rotating the locking nut in a first rotational direction moves the cams toward the engaged position and rotating the locking nut in a second rotational direction moves the cams towards the disengaged position.

A suppressor for a firearm includes a baffle stack having an outer surface, the baffle stack comprising a plurality of baffles that define an inner chamber extending along a central axis of the baffle stack and a projectile pathway through the baffle stack along the central axis. An outer housing is around the baffle stack and defines an outer volume between the outer housing and the baffle stack. Structures and openings in the suppressor promote a sinuous gas flow path through the inner chamber that enhances turbulent flow within the suppressor and reduces backpressure as desirable when used with a machine gun.

An assembly is configured for retaining a muzzle accessory mounted on a firearm barrel or to a muzzle adapter on the barrel, where the muzzle accessory has a mount with female threads on an inside and male threads on an outside of the mount. The outside of the muzzle adapter has male threads and a bearing surface. A locking nut has inner female threads and an inside taper located proximally of the female threads. A locking ring has a tapered outside face configured to engage the inside taper of the locking nut and an inside face configured to engage the bearing surface. When assembled, the mount is threaded onto the muzzle adapter and the locking nut is threaded onto the accessory mount with the locking ring engaging the bearing surface of the muzzle adapter and the inside taper of the locking nut.

A suppressor for a firearm includes a baffle stack having an outer surface, the baffle stack comprising a plurality of baffles that define an inner chamber extending along a central axis of the baffle stack and a projectile pathway through the baffle stack along the central axis. An outer housing is around the baffle stack and has an inner surface separated from and confronting the outer surface of the baffle stack. An outer chamber is defined between the inner surface of the outer housing and the outer surface of the baffle stack. Flow-directing structures are in the outer chamber and are arranged to direct gases into or out of the inner chamber.

A flash hider is configured to reduce a firearm's visible signature. The flash hider extends along a central axis from a proximal end to a distal end. The proximal end defines a central opening to an expanding central volume of a first flash hider portion. One or more outer volumes are located radially outside of the central volume and can be part of first and/or second flash hider portions. When the outer volumes are part of the first flash hider portion, the outer volumes can communicate with the central volume. Optionally, a second flash hider portion includes one or more gas passageways located radially outside of the central volume. For example, gas passageways are interspersed circumferentially with outer volumes of the first flash hider portion, where the gas passageways are isolated from first flash hider portion and receive gas flows via vent openings in the outer wall.

A trigger assembly is configured for a firearm having a striker movable along a bore axis between a cocked position and a fire position. The trigger assembly includes a trigger operable between a resting position and a pulled position. A first sear is operably coupled to the trigger and the striker. When the striker is in the cocked position, the first sear is movable from an engaged position to a disengaged position in response to moving the trigger from the resting position to the pulled position. A second sear is movable from a blocking position to a non-blocking position in response to moving the trigger from the resting position to the pulled position. When the trigger is in the resting position, the second sear is positioned to halt forward motion of the striker from the cocked position to the fire position.

A suppressor for a firearm includes a baffle stack having an outer surface, the baffle stack comprising a plurality of baffles that define an inner chamber coaxially aligned with a central axis of the baffle stack and a projectile pathway through the baffle stack along the central axis. An outer housing is around the baffle stack and has an inner surface separated from and confronting the outer surface of the baffle stack. An outer chamber is defined between the inner surface of the outer housing and the outer surface of the baffle stack. Flow-directing structures are in the outer chamber. An end cap is connected to a distal end of the outer housing and defines a central opening aligned with the central axis.

A suppressor has a suppressor body extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end plate. The suppressor defines an inner chamber with a plurality of baffles and a plurality of outer chambers located radially outside of the inner chamber between the suppressor body and an outer housing. An integral flash hider is located in the distal end portion of the suppressor and exits through a central exit opening in the distal end plate. The outer chambers are largely isolated from the inner chamber and evacuate semi-independently from the inner chamber.

A mounting assembly for a firearm muzzle attachment includes an attachment mount with a clutch assembly. A muzzle attachment can be secured to the distal end portion of the attachment mount. The attachment mount is configured to removably attach the muzzle attachment to a muzzle adapter installed on the end of a barrel. A clutch assembly on the attachment mount is operable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the clutch assembly frictionally engages the muzzle adapter to inhibit loosening rotation of the muzzle attachment relative to the muzzle adapter. In the unlocked position, the clutch assembly disengages from the muzzle adapter to permit loosening rotation of the attachment mount relative to the muzzle adapter. A method of use and a locking nut are also disclosed.

Techniques and componentry are disclosed for an air gun with an adjustable trigger mechanism. The air gun includes a cylinder attached to a barrel and a trigger mechanism. The trigger mechanism includes a sear operatively coupled to a trigger bar and configured to release a piston disposed within the cylinder in response to operating the trigger mechanism. Operatively coupled to the trigger bar is a trigger blade that includes a trigger stage bracket. The trigger stage bracket provides a second pull stage that operates with more resistance than a first pull stage during trigger blade movement. An adjustment screw is disposed within the trigger blade and is in contact with the trigger stage bracket. The adjustment screw positions the trigger stage bracket relative to the trigger blade to adjust a distance at which the trigger blade transitions from the first pull stage to the second pull stage.

Techniques and componentry are disclosed for an air gun with a cocking linkage shoe. The air gun includes a barrel pivotally attached to a cylinder. Attached to the barrel is a linkage. The linkage is operatively coupled to a piston within the cylinder and includes a lever and a shoe. The lever has a first end attached to the barrel and a second end that includes a first surface having a concave or convex shape. The shoe is attached to the lever and operatively connected to the piston. The shoe includes a second surface having a concave or convex shape in tangential contact with the first surface of the lever. The air gun further includes a trigger mechanism configured to release the piston in response to operating the trigger mechanism.

An air gun and methods of manufacture are provided. The air gun includes a barrel block pivotally attached to a compression fork. The barrel block includes two lateral wedges, one extending from each side of the barrel block. The wedges interact with complementary surfaces on the compression fork. This interaction reduces both lateral and vertical movement of the barrel resulting in greater accuracy and reduced need for re-sighting the air gun.
