A medication dispensing system includes an automated dispensing device that includes cells with electronically activated locks. The device is configured to detect when medication counts in the cells fall below predetermined thresholds. The system further includes a plurality of first electronic devices that are associated with some of the cells and that have imagers. In response to any of the medication counts in the cells being below the predetermined threshold, the automated dispensing device is configured to automatically send a replenishment needed notification to the first electronic device associated with the cell. That first electronic device is configured to transmit a picture of a medication to a second electronic device. In response to a positive verification by a user of the second electronic device that the medication in the picture is the correct medication, the second electronic device is configured to transmit an unlock signal to the automated dispensing device.

Medication verification method and system

The dynamic package sortation device includes a track for handling a plurality of packages is provided. At least one conveyor extends away from the track towards at least two shipping containers. The at least one conveyor is extendable and retractable for dispensing the packages into a first shipping container of the at least two shipping containers and a second condition for dispensing the packages into a second shipping container of the at least two shipping containers. A controller is provided for providing an instruction to move the at least one conveyor between the first condition and the second condition based on a trigger.

Dynamic package sortation device

A computer system includes a sorting device that receives a set of orders. The sorting device, for each fill of a first order of the set of orders, assigns the fill to one of a set of fulfillment devices. The computer system includes a sequence determination device configured to receive a first set of fills assigned to a first fulfillment device of the set of fulfillment devices. The sequence determination device adds the first set of fills to a first sequence corresponding to the first fulfillment device. The sequence determination device, for each fill of the first set of fills, determines a start time based on (i) a corresponding target date of the corresponding order and (ii) a priority of the corresponding order. The sequence determination device organizes the first sequence based on the start times. A forwarding device forwards the first sequence to the first fulfillment device.
