A client device includes: a display device that includes a touchscreen; a camera; a global positioning system (GPS) device; at least one processor; and a memory that stores a plurality of photographs generated by the camera, application data corresponding to a plurality of applications including at least one application that facilitates storage and selective deletion of the photographs based on subsets of photographs containing images of different people, subsets of photographs taken at different locations and subsets of photographs containing images of particular groups of people.

Client device with application for grouping and facilitating deletion of photographs from memory

A client device operates via at least one application to: generate feature detection data for a plurality of photographs by performing a computer vision function on the plurality of photographs; facilitate, based on the selection data generated via a graphical user interface, deletion of the at least one of the plurality of photographs corresponding to images of the particular person to be deleted from the memory; facilitate, based on selection data generated via the graphical user interface, deletion of the at least one of the plurality of photographs corresponding to images from a particular location to be deleted from the memory; and facilitate, based on selection data generated via the graphical user interface, deletion of the at least one of the plurality of photographs corresponding to images of a group of particular people to be deleted from the memory.

Client device and application for facilitating deletion of photographs from memory

A client device operates by: extracting a set of deletion candidate data from application data stored in memory, wherein the deletion candidate data corresponds to a plurality of photographs; generating feature detection data for each of the plurality of photographs by performing a computer vision function on the each of the plurality of photographs; generating a subset of the set of deletion candidate data for deletion by selecting ones of the set of deletion candidate data that compare favorably to deletion criteria data, wherein the deletion criteria data indicates at least one unfavorable feature and wherein the subset of the set of deletion candidate data is generated by selecting ones of the plurality of photographs with feature detection data that indicates the at least one unfavorable feature is included in the ones of the plurality of photographs; and facilitating deletion of at least a portion of the subset of the set of deletion candidate data from the memory.

Facilitating deletion of application data from a memory of a client device

A client device includes at least one processor and a memory that stores application data for a plurality of applications. The memory further stores executable instructions that, when executed by the client device, cause the client device to determine to perform a deletion evaluation function. A set of deletion candidate data is extracted from the application data of at least one of the plurality of applications in response to determining to perform the deletion evaluation function. A subset of the set of deletion candidate data for deletion is generated by selecting ones of the set of deletion candidate data that compare favorably to deletion criteria data. Deletion of the subset of the set of deletion candidate data from the memory is facilitated.

Selecting application data for deletion from memory of a client device

An event wizard server includes at least one processor that executes the event wizard server application that bidirectionally communicates event planning data with a user of a client device via a network interface. The event planning data includes: event type menu data, event type selection data, event size selection data, location data received from the client device, event budget menu data, event budget selection data, event budget data, event option menu data, event option selection data, event invitee menu data, and event invitee selection data.
