A disclosed computer-implemented method may include receiving, as part of a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) channel estimation operation, a frequency-domain channel estimation signal that includes a sequence of DMRS channels. The method may also include generating an augmented DMRS channel sequence that may include generating (1) based on an edge DMRS channel and an additional DMRS channel included in the sequence of DMRS channels, an extended DMRS channel sequence that includes a plurality of extended DMRS channels that extend a frequency range of the sequence of DMRS channels, and (2) based on an interpolation matrix and the extended DMRS channel sequence, an extrapolated DMRS channel sequence that includes extrapolated DMRS channels that further extend the frequency range of the sequence of DMRS channels. The method may also include interpolating a data channel based on the augmented DMRS channel sequence. Various other methods and systems are also disclosed.

A method for selecting a radio resource management scheme is disclosed. A distance between two wireless access points of two wireless local area networks is received. A calculated signal strength corresponding to the distance is determined. One or more signal strengths associated with communication between the two wireless access points are received. A difference between a first value associated with the received one or more signal strengths and a second value associated with the calculated signal strength is determined. The difference is compared to a threshold difference value to determine an environment assessment result. Based on the environment assessment result, an option among a plurality of radio resource management scheme options is selected for at least the two wireless access points.

In one embodiment, a method includes sending SRS received from a plurality of UEs associated with the base station to a DU associated with the base station, receiving information regarding a subset of the plurality of UEs selected for downlink data transmissions for an RBG, multi-user data to be transmitted to UEs in the subset, and identities of selected beams among a plurality of pre-determined beams to be associated with the UEs in the subset from the DU, where each of the plurality of pre-determined beams corresponds to a DFT vector, computing a precoding matrix for the RBG based on IDFT vectors corresponding to the selected beams, preparing pre-coded multi-user data by applying the precoding matrix to the multi-user data, and transmitting the pre-coded multi-user data to the UEs in the subset for the RBG using MIMO technologies.

One system includes a network that includes a plurality of nodes connected through wireless links, and a controller. The wireless links including aggressor links and victim links wherein the aggressor links interfere with the victim links. The controller is operative to identify aggressor links and victim links of a group of nodes of the plurality of nodes, coordinate beam scans of the one or more victim receive nodes associated with the victim links of the group, coordinate transmission of one or more aggressor transmit nodes associated with the aggressor links of the group, characterize or receive characterizations of measured interference at the one or more victim receive nodes during the coordinated beam scans, and select beamforming coefficients for the victim receive nodes based at least on the characterizations of the measured interference.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems for closing open loops of a wireless mesh network are disclosed. One method includes determining a representation of a wireless mesh network including nodes, and wireless links between the nodes, identifying end-site nodes of the wireless mesh network, determining open loops of the wireless mesh network that include the identified end-site nodes, generating a list of potential nodes for closing each of the open loops with the identified end-site node, testing one or more of the potential nodes, comprising testing performance of a wireless connection between each end-site node and the one or more potential nodes, wherein the performance includes a number of wireless hops around each closed loop formed including the end-site node and each potential node, selecting a closing node based on the testing, and providing a wireless link connection between one or more of the end-site nodes and the closing node.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems for synchronizing nodes of a wireless network are disclosed.
