A vehicular vision system includes a global shutter camera disposed at a vehicle and a plurality of light emitters operable to emit light. With the vehicular vision system operating in a floodlight mode, the plurality of light emitters operates to emit light to illuminate a region. With the vehicular vision system operating in a reduced illumination mode, a reduced number of light emitters operates to emit light to illuminate a sub-region of the region. At least a portion of the sub-region is viewed by the global shutter camera, which captures image data at a frame-capture rate that is synchronized with a pulse rate of the reduced number of light emitters when the vehicular vision system is operating in the reduced illumination mode. With the vehicular vision system operating in the reduced illumination mode, image data captured by the global shutter camera is processed for a vehicle function.

A vehicular central monitoring system includes a forward-viewing camera, a plurality of non-vision sensors and an electronic control unit. A wireless communication device wirelessly communicates to a central server (i) vehicle data indicative of operation of the vehicle and (ii) environment data indicative of the environment in which the vehicle is traveling. The central server processes the wirelessly received vehicle data and environment data. Responsive to processing at the central server of the vehicle data and environment data received at the central server from the vehicle, the central server determines if the vehicle is at or approaching a hazardous condition. Responsive to the determination that the vehicle is at or approaching the hazardous condition, the vehicular central monitoring system (i) alerts a driver of the vehicle of the determined hazardous condition and/or (ii) controls a vehicle system of the vehicle to mitigate the determined hazardous condition.

A vehicular parking system includes vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system disposed at a first vehicle. The vehicular parking system, as the first vehicle navigates a parking facility in search of an available parking space, receives a parking space availability communication via the V2V communication system. The parking space availability communication originates from a second vehicle that is also navigating the parking facility. The parking space availability communication indicates multiple available parking spaces within the parking facility and the multiple available parking spaces are determined by the second vehicle as the second vehicle navigates the parking facility and passes available parking spaces. The vehicular parking system, responsive to receiving the parking space availability communication, reserves one of the multiple available parking spaces of the parking space availability communication for the first vehicle.

A vehicular vision system includes a camera, a near-infrared light emitter operable to illuminate at least part of a region viewed by the camera, and an electronic control unit having an image processor. While the camera is capturing frames of image data at a first rate, the near-infrared light emitter is pulsed on/off at a second rate. The first rate is at least two times the second rate. First frames of image data are captured by the camera when the region is illuminated by light emitted by the near-infrared light emitter. The captured first frames of image data are processed at the ECU for a first vehicle function. Second frames of image data are captured by the camera when the region is not illuminated by light emitted by the near-infrared light emitter. The captured second frames of image data are processed at the ECU for a second vehicle function.

A vehicular cabin monitoring system includes an interior-viewing camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing a driver sitting at a driver seat of the vehicle and viewing at least one other seat of the vehicle. The interior-viewing camera is operable to capture image data. The vehicular cabin monitoring system, via processing of image data captured by the interior-viewing camera, detects an occupant present in the vehicle. The vehicular cabin monitoring system, via processing of image data captured by the interior-viewing camera, monitors the driver sitting at the driver seat of the vehicle. Control of the vehicle is adjusted based at least in part on the monitoring of the driver and the detected occupant.

A vehicular communication system includes a communication device in a vehicle. Responsive to the communication device receiving an input from a vehicle system indicative of a service need, the communication device requests an input from the driver of the vehicle pertaining to a desired characteristic of a service provider that can address the service need. Responsive to the communication device receiving the input from the driver, the vehicular communication system determines a plurality of service providers that (i) can address the service need and (ii) has the desired characteristic. The communication device communicates a list of the determined service providers to the driver and, responsive to the driver selecting a service provider from the list, the vehicular communication system sets a navigation system of the vehicle to navigate to the selected service provider.

Embodiments herein facilitate user to communicate the permanent unique identification number over the audio communication in place of error free information to be communicated with a caller, by executing the client application and the centralized server application.

First frames of image data are captured by the camera when the region is illuminated by light emitted by the near-infrared light emitter, and the captured first frames of image data are processed at the ECU for a first vehicle function. Second frames of image data are captured by the camera when the region is not illuminated by light emitted by the near-infrared light emitter, and the captured second frames of image data are processed at the ECU for a second vehicle function.

A vehicular control system includes a forward-sensing sensor and a forward-viewing camera disposed at a vehicle. The forward-sensing sensor includes a forward antenna array that emits a radio frequency (RF) beam at least forward of the vehicle. The forward antenna array includes a plurality of antennas. An electronic control unit (ECU) includes an image processor operable to process image data captured by the forward-viewing camera. The vehicular control system, responsive at least in part to processing by the image processor of image data captured by the forward-viewing camera, determines a driving condition at the vehicle. The vehicular control system dynamically controls the RF beam emitted by the forward antenna array of the forward-sensing sensor based at least in part on the determined driving condition.

A vehicular control system includes a first communication device disposed at a first vehicle, a second communication device disposed at a second vehicle, a camera disposed at the second vehicle, and an electronic control unit (ECU) of the second vehicle. The vehicular control system determines a potential collision between the first vehicle and the second vehicle based at least in part on (i) a wireless communication received at the second communication device from the first communication device and provided to the ECU of the second vehicle and/or (ii) processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera disposed at the second vehicle. Responsive to determination of the potential collision between the first vehicle and the second vehicle, the vehicular control system controls (i) braking of the second vehicle and/or (ii) steering of the second vehicle.

A vehicular control system includes a camera, a non-vision sensor and a control having at least one data processor. The camera is disposed at a vehicle and views at least forward of the vehicle. The non-vision sensor is disposed at the vehicle and senses at least forward of the vehicle. The control, responsive at least in part to processing at the control of captured image data and captured sensor data, determines a fault of the camera or of the non-vision sensor. Responsive to determination of the fault of the camera or of the non-vision sensor, the control wirelessly communicates an alert to a remote processor that is located remote from the vehicle and that is not part of the vehicle. Responsive to receipt of the communicated alert, the remote processor at least in part assumes control of the vehicle.

A vehicular driving assist system includes an electronic control unit (ECU). When the equipped vehicle is driving in the autonomous mode, driving of the vehicle is controlled by the ECU without human intervention. When the vehicle is being driven in a non-autonomous mode, a particular driver at least partially drives the vehicle. The vehicular driving assist system learns a driving style of the particular driver and, when the vehicle is being driven in the non-autonomous mode by the particular driver, the system restricts learning of the driving style of the particular driver responsive to determination by the system that the particular driver is (i) driving the vehicle erratically and/or (ii) performing an illegal driving maneuver. When the vehicle is driving in the autonomous mode, and responsive to the particular driver being present in the vehicle, the vehicle drives in accordance with the learned driving style of the particular driver.

A vehicular vision system includes a forward viewing camera at a windshield of a vehicle and a plurality of color cameras, and includes a display device operable to display video images derived from image data captured by the color cameras. A processing unit includes a first processing chip that has an image processor for machine-vision processing of captured image data, and a second processing chip that receives vehicle data and receives image data captured by the color cameras. The first processing chip machine-vision processes image data captured by the cameras for object detection and classification of objects. The first processing chip controls operating parameters of the color cameras to enhance object detection based on machine-vision processing by the first processing chip of image data captured by the color cameras. The second processing chip controls operating parameters of the color cameras for display at the display device of video images.

A vehicular control system includes a forward sensing sensor and a forward viewing camera disposed at a vehicle. The forward sensing sensor has an antenna array that emits a radio frequency (RF) beam at least forward of the vehicle. The antenna array include at least four antennas. An electronic control unit (ECU) includes an image processor operable to process image data captured by the forward viewing camera. The system, responsive at least in part to processing by the image processor of image data captured by the forward viewing camera, determines a weather condition at the vehicle. The system adjusts the RF beam emitted by the antenna array of the forward sensing sensor based at least in part on the determined weather condition. The system may adjust transmission power of the RF beam and/or beam pattern of the RF beam based at least in part on the determined weather condition.
