Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure a parameter associated with a secondary cell group. The UE may perform an optimization response action for a dual connectivity mode of a first frequency parameter or a second frequency parameter when the parameter satisfies a threshold, wherein the optimization response action is associated with whether the secondary cell group is operating with the first frequency parameter or the second frequency parameter. Numerous other aspects are described.

Techniques for dual connectivity mode optimization

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a modem of a user equipment (UE) and a data source, such as an application processor or a tethered client, may support for flow control enforcement per service flow. For example, the modem may transmit, to the application processor, a first flow control command for a first data traffic including non-prioritized data. The application processor, based on the first flow control command, may transmit, to the modem, the first data traffic including the non-prioritized data according to the first flow control command while also transmitting a second data traffic including prioritized data without flow control. The modem and the application processor may support such selective flow control enforcement based on a priority of a service flow based on maintaining multiple buffers at the modem or based on defining multiple thresholds of one buffer associated with triggering flow control.

Techniques for prioritizing service flow to maintain quality of service

Various embodiments provide methods for Internet Protocol (IP) packet handling. Various embodiments may enable downlink (DL) data prioritization of IP packets for time-sensitive applications, for example by using differentiated services code point (DSCP) indications or type-of-service (TOS) indications in headers of the IP packets to distinguish prioritized IP packets from non-prioritized IP packets. In various embodiments, IP packets that are prioritized IP packets may be sent to another processor of a wireless device using a prioritized traffic handling configuration that has a lower latency than a default traffic handling configuration used for sending non-prioritized IP packets. Various embodiments may further enable uplink (UL) data prioritization of IP packets.

Downlink data prioritization for time-sensitive applications

A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may be a user device. The apparatus determines that a network server IP address of a first network has changed. The apparatus transmits information associated with the change to one or more client devices in a second network. In an aspect, the one or more client devices in the second network are connected to the first network using the network server IP address of the first network.
