An exhaust gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes at least one electrically excitable heating unit having a heating region arranged in an exhaust gas guiding housing such that exhaust gas can flow thereover, and two connection regions passing through the exhaust gas guiding housing for connection to electrical connection lines running outside the exhaust gas guiding housing. A connection line installation aid is fixed with respect to the exhaust gas guiding housing and has at least one connection line positioning recess in an installation aid body for receiving a connection line to be connected to one of the connection regions.

Exhaust gas treatment arrangement

A connection element for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a connection element body extending in the direction of a connection element longitudinal axis. An inner circumferential surface of the connection element body delimits an exhaust gas passage of the connection element and a connecting flange extends radially outward from the connection element body and surrounds the longitudinal axis. The connecting flange has an abutment surface oriented in the direction of a first axial end of the connection element body. A section of the connection element body defines the first axial end thereof. A centering section has a centering outer circumferential surface and a depression surrounds the longitudinal axis and has a depression surface which is offset axially in the direction away from the first axial end with respect to the abutment surface.

An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas heater housing, an exhaust gas heater disposed in the exhaust gas heater housing and an exhaust gas treatment unit housing which, via an upstream end region, adjoins a downstream end region of the exhaust gas heater housing. At least one exhaust gas treatment unit is disposed in the exhaust gas treatment unit housing. At least one exhaust gas heater includes at least one connector element that, in the downstream direction toward the exhaust gas treatment unit housing, extends toward the exhaust gas heater and, in an exhaust gas primary flow direction, overlaps with the upstream end region of the exhaust gas treatment unit housing and/or with an exhaust gas treatment unit disposed in the upstream end region of the exhaust gas treatment unit housing.

Exhaust gas heater system

A probe carrier arrangement, especially for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, includes a probe socket () provided at a probe carrier body (). The probe socket () has at least one insert-receiving opening () extending in a direction of an insert-receiving opening longitudinal axis (E). A probe carrier insert () is arranged in the insert-receiving opening (). The probe carrier insert () has at least one probe-receiving opening () extending in a direction of a probe-receiving opening longitudinal axis (S).

An air gap-insulated exhaust manifold () for a supercharged internal combustion engine (), preferably of a motor vehicle has an engine flange () fastening the exhaust manifold to an engine block () and a turbine flange () fastening the exhaust manifold to a turbine () of an exhaust gas turbocharger (). Two inner pipes () lead from an inlet opening, for exhaust gas, adjacent to the engine flange to an outlet opening (), for exhaust gas, adjacent to the turbine flange. An outer pipe () envelopes the two inner pipes, forming an air gap insulation (), and extends from the engine flange to the turbine flange. A separation partition () separates, in the interior space () of the outer pipe, two interior spaces (), in which one each of the two inner pipes is arranged. Reduced wear is achieved with the partition arranged loosely at the turbine flange.

The present invention relates to a sliding seat for mounting a thermally impacted pipe on a structural part so as to be axially movable, in particular in an exhaust gas system of a combustion engine, with a bearing material which is radially supported against pipe on the outside thereof and which is fixed on structural part via a retaining pipe fastened on structural part.

Provided is an exhaust gas retreatment device for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine including a housing, in which an exhaust gas retreatment element and upstream thereof a silencer device are arranged, an inlet gas path leading from one housing inlet to an outlet of the exhaust gas retreatment element located in the interior of the housing, with an exhaust gas path following the inlet gas path which in the interior of the housing leads to the silencer device and/or through the silencer device as well as to a housing outlet. A cost-effective design can be achieved if the inlet gas path has a higher gas tightness than the exhaust gas path and/or if components of the exhaust gas retreatment device limiting the inlet gas path have a higher material quality than components of the exhaust gas retreatment device only limiting the exhaust gas path.
