Methods, devices and program products are provided for a medical instrumentation storage cabinet. First and second instrumentation retention trays are configured to receive surgical instruments. The housing includes a top plate, a bottom shelf and at least one intermediate shelf there between. The bottom and intermediate shelfs and the first and second instrumentation retention trays include a plurality of holes there through to allow passage of a sterilization medium during a sterilization process. Standoffs are distributed about a perimeter of the housing. The standoffs separate the intermediate shelf from the top plate and bottom shelf to define first and second tray storage areas there between. The first and second tray storage areas have a shape and dimension to receive the first and second instrumentation retention trays. The standoffs are spaced apart from one another to define tray passages there between. The tray passages re sized and located to allow both of the first and second instrumentation retention trays to be inserted into the housing and opened to an open position relative to the housing in at least three directions.

A modular component container system includes a plurality of case walls and a plurality of connectors. Each of the connectors includes at least two connector elements that mechanically connect to the case walls. The system also includes at least one latch connector having a latch connector element. The latch connector element mechanically connects to one of the case walls. A latch is movably oriented relative to the latch connector element. The latch releasably engages another of the case walls.

System and method for modular component sterilization case

A medical instrument holder and method of holding a medical instrument is provided. The medical instrument holder includes a first substantially planar structure having at least a first aperture positioned therein. A second substantially planar structure is positioned approximately parallel to the first substantially planar structure. The second substantially planar structure has at least a second aperture positioned therein, wherein the second aperture is flexible. At least one holding structure is connected between the first substantially planar structure and the second substantially planar structure.

Medical instrument holder and method thereof

A grommet device and method of using a grommet device is provided. The device includes a base structure having a base surface and a top structure having a top surface. A middle portion is connected between the top structure and the base structure, wherein an aperture is positioned through the middle portion, the aperture having an interior space defined by an aperture sidewall extending from the base surface to the top surface. A protruding structure is affixed to a portion of the aperture sidewall at a first end and extending towards a central axis of the aperture along a protrusion axis, wherein the protrusion axis is substantially aligned with a length of the protruding structure from the first end to the second end, and wherein a second end of the protruding structure is flexibly movable in at least one direction substantially perpendicular to the protrusion axis.

Universally-sized grommet device and method thereof

The system contains at least two elongated feet attached to a wall of the sterilization case. A grommet device and method of using a grommet device is provided. A top structure has a top surface. An aperture having a central axis is positioned interior of the top structure. A sidewall is formed around the aperture and connected to the top structure. The sidewall is positioned substantially perpendicular from the top surface of the top structure. At least two upper protruding structures are connected to the top structure at different locations along the top structure, wherein each of the upper protruding structures extends into the aperture. At least two lower protruding structures extend from the sidewall at different locations along the sidewall, wherein each of the lower protruding structures have a flexing portion extending into the aperture, wherein each of the upper protruding structures are substantially radially aligned with the flexing portion of each of the lower protruding structures, respectively.

Removable grommet device and method of using thereof

A modular medical instrument table and method of using the same is provided. The modular medical instrument table includes a base and at least one support structure rising from the base, the support structure having a substantially vertical axis. At least one arm is removably affixed to the support structure, the arm having a first end proximate to the support structure and a second end distal from the support structure, wherein the second end of the arm is rotatable about the support structure. A shelf is attachable to the second end of the arm.

A grommet device and method of using a grommet device is provided. The grommet device includes a base structure and a top structure connected to the base structure with a plurality of sidewalls, wherein an aperture having a central axis is formed interior of the plurality of sidewalk. At least one flexible bowed element having a first end, a second end and a middle portion is connected to the base structure at the first end and the top structure at the second end, wherein the middle portion is positioned within the aperture.

Grommet device with flexible bowed members and methods of using thereof

The system contains a latch mechanism for a container having a first container portion and a second container portion comprising a guide part attached to the first container portion. A slide part is carried by the guide part, shiftable relative to the guide part between a closed position restraining the second container portion and an open position releasing the slide part from the second container portion. A guide catch part is integral with said guide part and a slide part including a depressible flap. A slide catch part is integral with said depressible flap. Interaction between said guide catch part and said slide catch part restrains said slide part against movement from said closed position into said open position. Actuating said depressible flap releases said slide catch part from being restrained by said guide catch part and frees the slide part to move from the closed to open position.

Latch for a medical instrument sterilization container

A surgical instrument case which includes a primary case which is substantially rectangular and has a pair of opposite side walls, a pair of opposite end walls and a bottom wall. A secondary case fits within the primary case, and the secondary case has at least one attachment element on an outside surface of the secondary case. The at least one attachment element is configured for connecting to at least one of the side walls and the end walls when the secondary case is mounted on an outside of at least one of the opposite side walls and the opposite end walls.
