There is provided a joint connector including: a ground terminal member made of a conductive metal, and configured by integrally forming a plate-shaped fixing portion fixed to a ground portion, the body horizontal plate portion extending from the plate-shaped fixing portion, the body rising plate portion formed by bending the body horizontal plate portion in a rising direction at a bent portion, the terminal connection portion provided above the body rising plate portion, and the crank-shaped bent portion bent in a crank shape near the terminal connection portion in the body rising plate portion; a housing to which the ground terminal member is insert-molded; and a primer treatment portion applied to an outer peripheral surface of the body rising plate portion on a side of the body horizontal plate portion with respect to the crank-shaped bent portion.

Joint connector and method for manufacturing joint connector

There is provided a joint connector including: a ground terminal member integrally formed by a plate-shaped fixing portion fixed to a ground portion, a body horizontal plate portion extending from the plate-shaped fixing portion, a body rising plate portion formed by bending in a rising direction, a terminal connection portion provided formed with a plurality of terminal connecting portions electrically connectable with a counterpart terminal, and a coupling piece; and a housing integrally formed by a housing body portion in which the body rising plate portion and the terminal connection portion are insert-molded in a state where the plurality of terminal connecting portions are protruded for connecting the counterpart terminal, and a reinforcing rib portion provided to couple a resin portion covering the coupling piece and a resin portion covering the terminal connection portion.

Joint connector

A connector includes: a plurality of terminals; a housing having a tubular outer wall part, a holding part having a plurality of terminal housing chambers, lances positioned radially outside the respective terminal housing chambers, and a locking part; and a detection member having a tubular fitting part to be fit to the holding part and an engaging part. The lances, when the respective terminals are inserted into a regular position in the respective terminal housing chambers, enter the inside of the fitting part when the fitting part is fit to the holding part and, when the respective terminal are not inserted into the regular position, are pressed by the respective terminals to become deformed radially outward and to lock the fitting part at a first position, the first position being short of a position at which the engaging part is engaged with the locking part.

Connector

A connector includes: a housing having terminal housing chambers, one passage part, and lances; terminals inserted into the respective terminal housing chambers and locked by the respective lances at a regular position; and a detection member inserted into the passage part to detect whether the terminals are inserted to the regular position. The passage part is adjacent to each of the terminal housing chambers. The lances are provided at a boundary between the respective terminal housing chambers and the passage part. The lances, when the respective terminals are not inserted to the regular position, are pressed by the respective terminals to lock the detection member at a first position. The lances, when the respective terminals are inserted to the regular position, allow the detection member to be inserted into a more inner position than the first position.

A connector includes: a housing; and a short-circuit terminal. A deformable portion is configured to deform in a direction of moving away from the terminal during housing of the terminal and to deform in a direction of moving closer to the terminal when the housing of the terminal is finished. The short-circuit terminal has, as different portions, a contact point portion to contact with the two or more terminals and a push target portion to contact with the deformable portion. The short-circuit terminal is configured to reduce its pressure of contact toward the terminal at the contact point portion, during the housing of the terminal, due to a movement of the push target portion along with the deformable portion.

Connector and wire harness

One of a pair of connectors of a spring type connector includes an inner housing, an outer housing, a gap defined between the inner housing and the outer housing, retaining mechanisms, and a spring. The retaining mechanism includes a pair of abutting members provided on the inner housing and the outer housing, and a cushioning member provided between the pair of the abutting members.

Spring type connector

A connector includes a pair of housings to be fitted to each other by inserting an insertion part of one housing into a tubular part of another housing. On an outer peripheral surface of the insertion part of the one housing, a plurality of outer ribs which project from the outer peripheral surface are provided separately in a circumferential direction to extend from a front end of the insertion part to a rear side. On an inner peripheral surface of the tubular part of the other housing, a plurality of inner ribs which project from the inner peripheral surface are provided separately in a circumferential direction to extend from a front end of the tubular part to a rear side. The outer ribs and the inner ribs are provided such that positions in the circumferential direction are deviated from each other.

A connector has one housing having a tubular body which surrounds terminals; the other housing having a tubular body to be connected to the tubular body of the one housing; and a lock mechanism which allows tip surfaces of the tubular bodies that define external shapes of the pair of housings, respectively, to come into contact with each other and maintains a connected state of the one housing and the other housing.

Connector with tubular bodies

There is provided a waterproof connector structure which includes a pair of connector housings. An opening end portion of a cylindrical body of one connector housing is inserted into an opening end portion of a cylindrical body of another connector housing at the time of fitting. One cylindrical body has a projection part which is provided to protrude outward in a radial direction from the opening end portion thereof entirely in a circumferential direction. The projection part is provided on a front side in a fitting direction from an opening part of a terminal receiving chamber surrounded by the one cylindrical body.

Waterproof connector structure and method for producing connector housing

The connector includes an inner housing, an outer housing, a locking mechanism for locking, a spring member that pushes back the inner housing during half fitting, and a pushback regulating position that regulates a pushback position. The pushback regulating portion includes a claw portion, a stepped portion against which the claw portion abuts, and a sliding load portion that makes a sliding friction force between the inner housing and the outer housing at a predetermined timing before abutting to be larger than the sliding friction force before the predetermined timing.

A connector includes: a first connector which includes a tubular outer housing and an inner housing in which a plurality of first terminals are provided; a second connector which includes a bottomed tubular counterpart housing in which a plurality of second terminals are provided; and an elastic member which is provided in the outer housing and urges the inner housing toward a front side of the first connector in a fitting direction. The inner housing is moved by the elastic member to the front side in the fitting direction at the time of fitting.

A locking structure for terminals includes a connector housing in which a plurality of terminal housing chambers accommodating the terminals connected to wires are formed and a first lance and a second lance extending from rear end parts of the terminal housing chambers toward front sides thereof to lock the terminals. A first sidewall of a pair of sidewalls forming a first terminal housing chamber is disposed to face a second sidewall of the pair of the sidewalls forming a second terminal housing chamber adjacent to the first terminal housing with a space between the first sidewall and the second sidewall.

Locking structure for terminals and connector

In a waterproof structure of a connector (), each of a pair of housings () has an annular member () projecting in a fitting direction. An outer circumferential surface () of one annular member () is inclined so as to spread outward in the radial direction from the front end toward the back, and presses the inner circumferential surface of the other annular member () at the time of fitting. The curvature of the outer circumferential surface of the plurality of corner parts (to) of the annular member () is larger than the curvature of the outer circumferential surface of the other portion, and the inclination angle of the former outer circumferential surface with respect to the fitting direction is larger than the inclination angle with respect to the fitting direction of the latter outer circumferential surface.

Waterproof structure of connector

One of a pair of first terminals includes a spring member of which one end is supported by the first housing. A contact portion that contacts one of a pair of second terminals is formed on a free end of the spring member. A lock arm abuts against the spring member to displace the contact portion, and brings the contact portion into contact with one of the second terminals at the time of locking. The other of the first terminals has a contact portion that contacts the other of the second terminals when the connectors are fitted, and is disposed apart from one of the first terminals.
